In breach of ICO rules
When you ask them for a valuation, they will automatically include your number plate on their site as a “POA”, even though you have not provided explicit consent, which means that you will get enquiries about your plate (as I have) even though it was legitimately advertised elsewhere (at a much higher valuation). This contravenes ICO data protection rules which require deliberate, not assumed, consent. A business cannot assume that there is implied consent if a person does not read the Ts&Cs and/or does not ask for it not to be listed as a POA.

Apologies for the length of time to reply — following advice and careful consideration of your complaint, including a review of the relevant ICO guidance and applicable UK GDPR provisions, we are satisfied that our process is fully compliant. We respectfully but firmly disagree with the characterisation in this review.
The ICO consent rules you have referenced apply specifically where consent is the lawful basis for processing. That is not the case here. When you submitted our valuation request form, the terms were clearly set out in bold at the top of the page, stating that your registration would be listed on our website as POA pending your response. You actively chose to request our valuation service on those terms.
The listing is part of the valuation process you requested — not a separate marketing activity — and therefore does not require additional consent under ICO rules.
We would also note that our POA listings carry a clear notice that a "Price and Availability Check" is required before any enquiry is progressed. No price is quoted and no commitment is made without first contacting the owner. The suggestion that enquiries were generated improperly is not an accurate reflection of how our listings work.
Your registration was removed promptly upon request, and we are sorry the experience did not meet your expectations. We would gently encourage anyone reading this review to consider that the legal position is not as stated.

From purchase to putting plates on car was stress free
I searched for the plate, paid for it and selected everything I wanted them to do at checkout And paid. That’s it. I sad back and they did all the rest. I had to do was put the number plates on my car when I received an email that it’s live I can put the new plates on the car. It took about a week from purchase to putting the new plates.

To purchase the personal number plates was quite easy. The way I believe is to get them to do everything so it all runs smoothly then all you have to do is wait for the email, fit and call your insurance. Its that simple!

Plate delivered very quickly after ordering.
Unfortunately was slightly incorrect but with just a phone call the very efficient Peta was able to amend the order, organise new plates and get them delivered within 2 days. She was extremely helpful and professional and made the whole process worry free.
