I hate giving companies 1-star reviews…

I hate giving companies 1-star reviews and I rarely do so, but believe me: stay away from this extension if you can. Here's why:
Cart2Quote's quoting extension for Magento 2 in general, seems like a good choice. It offers a myriad of features any B2B company is looking for without having to go for Magento Enterprise (no called Adobe Commerce) version. In general, I would even say that if you have a simple Magento 2 store their extension (might) work just fine. But as soon as your Magento 2 store is a complex multi-Website/-Store/-Store View shop; or you have complex multi-currency/-taxing settings configured; or you have a lot of 3rd party extensions installed, Cart2Quote becomes a nightmare. You'll be struggling with issues like prices not being correctly update in the quote, taxes not calculated correctly (especially with EU complex taxing setups), and just really a lot of all usability issues that might work today but then don't work tomorrow and you have absolutely no clue why not. Besides that, their support is horrendous. We initially installed their extension 4 years ago and had major compatibility issues with Amasty's extensions. We paid them to ensure compatibility which fixed the issues only temporarily. Every Cart2Quote extension update just brought up new issues. We contacted them several times over the 4 years we used their extension. Every time the same person responded to our enquiries, which I don't mind but just seemed a bit strange as the company website lists a whole team of developers and we didn't simply have 1st level support requests. So, you would expect to be in touch with one of their lead developers at least once, especially because we kept on coming to them with issues. That said, their response times are very long. Sometimes several weeks and by then you even forgot how to replicate the bug. Very annoying to say the least. Often enough, we had fixed the issues ourselves with custom code implementations which as you can imagine is a nightmare to maintain.
Really all in all, Cart2Quote might shine with features but is just not worth it as you'll end up spending more time, effort and money than just the initial cost for the extension.

BUGS and Nonexistent customer service and broken promises – a frustrating experience

We purchased multiple extensions along with the installation package, which was supposed to include bug fixing. Unfortunately, the extensions are riddled with bugs, and we’ve received no support for weeks.

Simon specifically promised us — as shown in the attached screenshot — that if we removed a previous negative review, he would resolve all issues affecting our store within 10–15 days. We accepted in good faith, but nearly two months have passed, and not only has nothing been resolved, we’ve been completely ignored once again.

Broken promises, zero communication, and unstable products — we strongly advise staying away from this company.
