Disappointing delivery experience
I recently placed a 5-figure order of over 5 tons of high-quality ceramics, expecting a smooth delivery from Italy to Paris. Unfortunately, the experience was fraught with issues, including multiple last-minute cancellations and poor communication, leading to substantial additional costs for me. Despite preparing with a forklift and team (which I was not given any alternatives about), I was left managing and paying for several rescheduled attempts.
A month has passed with no resolution or refund for the extra costs incurred, despite promises. The logistical and financial impact of this experience was significant, and I urge potential customers to consider this when placing large orders and/or delivering to large cities. I hope the company addresses these concerns promptly and fairly.
On top of this, I was recently made aware (not by the company itself) that my private data was leaked in a data breach, highlighting again large inefficiencies within the company.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the transportation company. But we would also like to underline that delivering huge slabs of 120x280 cm in the middle of Paris is not easy, not even for the best equipped transport companies. The delivery is not comparable with smaller standard sizes of tiles.
Anyhow we would like to clarify that the transport company immediately proposed to cover all associated costs. Due to unforeseen transit issues, unfortunately, it was not possibile to meet the originally scheduled date. We understand the difficulties this can cause for our clients, and although such delays are rare, they can occur due to events beyond our control, especially with road transport, thus affecting agreed-upon delivery dates.
Regarding the necessity of a forklift, it was required due to the large size of the slabs in your order. As an alternative, we could have arranged a delivery with forklift by the transport company to an extra cost.
