Cancelled booking - no notice

We booked in October for a December travel date. We arrived to our apartment after 40 hours of travel door to door only to find Casamundo had cancelled our booking. It was still active in the app, no email or refund had been received and no-one to help @ 7pm on a rainy Thursday night. We found more accommodation for the night after two hours of trying to rectify the issue.

Following day we found alternate accommodation, half the quality……as short notice Christmas time in London was at a premium.

They then issued a refund and said sorry.

Absolute nonsense. Terrible way to start a month long holiday.

1 star. Do not recommend.

it has a huge range of rentals in offer , you will find someting you like anyway . what i didnt like is that while take the booking you'l be send to an other company that i never heard about and that's not very accessible.

Bad customerservice

The only thing they mention when you have a serious issue with a rented house that they are just a platform....
inresponsible and I would not book again with them

In regard to your answer Casamundo
We have been waiting for more than 4 weeks now for an answer
And only because the landlord does not respond and keep pointing to other parties

That you are only an internediair is not of our concern
I have booked trough your website and you are reponsible
Do not ask us just be patience
We have waited long enough

You received an answer from the landlord in the meantime via email.

"The damage doesn't seem vital to me insofar as there was a second bathroom, and nobody was hurt. It was just an inconvenience that doesn't always justify financial compensation".
I am sorry that no compensation will be decided by the owner. However, the partner Hestia Conciergerie, made an offer of discount of 120€ for your next stay in one of their houses.
We are sorry, but there is nothing more we can do from our end.
