Account of an Incident at Cashmirino London Boutique
On Saturday, August 30, 2025, at approximately 3:30 PM, I visited the Cashmirino London Boutique located at 31 Burlington Arcade, London, W1J 0PY, with a friend.
Upon entering, we were met by two sales assistants who created an immediately unwelcoming atmosphere. One of the assistants in particular appeared tense and aggressive. As I began to browse the items, she abruptly asked for my size. I politely declined, stating that I simply wanted to look around. She reacted with visible dissatisfaction, which I found to be an aggressive response.
I then proceeded to go upstairs to continue browsing, at which point the assistant shouted aggressively that the items upstairs were only for children two years of age and older. This behavior was extremely uncomfortable. She then began to follow me closely, maintaining a distance of less than a meter, which felt invasive and created a very uncomfortable experience. Due to this unsettling atmosphere, I decided to leave the shop.
As I exited, the assistant slammed the door loudly and aggressively behind me. I was visibly shaken and began to recount the incident to my friends who were waiting outside, gesturing towards the assistant as I spoke. Upon seeing this, the assistant ran out of the shop and began to verbally abuse me. She made several personal insults, including phrases such as: "You stupid b---ch, you think you are rich and better than me, you think you can talk about me...".
She then physically engaged with me by grabbing me. When I stated I would record her behavior and call the police, she tried to grab my phone from my hand. She then began to scream for security within the arcade.
When security arrived, the assistant continued her verbal assault. At this point, my friends and I informed security that her behavior was out of control and we decided to leave the scene.
The assistant's behavior was not only unprofessional but also dangerous. Her actions demonstrate a clear lack of emotional control and a potential for violence, making her a threat to customers, especially women and expectant mothers. This level of aggression, which escalated from verbal abuse to a physical altercation, is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. This individual poses a risk to the public and should be reported to the police immediately.
