0 STARS!!!
Traded a Ford Ranger for a Land Rover discovery! And I kid you not - one of the worst experiences with some very unkind people working there.
Kasim, totally took advantage as I had 2 young children with me who was getting agitated.
He took my car in as £16,000. The car I was looking at was £15,980. Said there was an admin fee of £199. Which of course I was haggling and said let’s just do a straight swap. He said he would do a discount on the admin fee for £100. I paid £100. In theory it should have been £80. He should have been honest and said it’s £20 too much but he accepted the money. He did not state the part ex or the discounted admin fee on the invoice sheet.
The car I bought then came up with a warning the moment I got it home it also selected neutral and would not go into drive!
I asked to reverse the transaction and get my car back to which he stated they had sold it already!!!!
I had a tracker on the car - Kasim told us where he lived which funnily enough the car ended up in that same area for multiple nights. And now all of the sudden a up coming Ford Ranger with the same spec and similar mileage is now for sale on their websites. These people are not honest!

I therefore asked for a full refund. Which they refused and said the full admin fee would be deducted. Which I then told them I’m not giving document for both my car or their car with spare keys until the refund can be processed in front of me. THEY THREATENED ME WITH COURT!!!!
So felt like I had no other option. I also felt I had to record every single interaction with them since. I had proof of Kasim and Vrund telling me I would have the partial refund in my account within 48hours! This did not happen, they then ignored phone calls and emails. I then reached out to legal help and luckily had a friend who could help. After submitting a formal complaint requesting a full refund. They called me *OBLIVIOUS* to my email. When I argued I wanted a full refund. Vrund said this is the amount the manager has agreed on I have the accountant here who can make payment now if I wanted to dispute it would take longer to get the money but would not give me a time frame. I am a mother to 2 kids without a vehicle. Which they were very aware of!!! I had no choice but to get the offered money there and then. I told him I still want to the admin fee back and to talk to the manager.
We followed through with an email. To which a further week went by and I had a phone call from Ana. Who’s only response could be admin fee is not refundable it states it on our website. Their t&c’s do not commit to what is legally allowed!! Under the consumer act 2015 they are not legally allowed to with hold any fees when a car is bought and it’s faulty.

I want to add Kasim was incredibly rude to me. He hung up the phone on me multiple times. He shouted and swore down the phone to me in a few occasions. He called me boring for requesting a full refund multiple times!

Based on this experience and reading other reviews similar. I would stay clear.

Awful after care.

FRAUDSTERS PLEASE READ

Part exchanged Ford Ranger for a Landrover Discovery. This was a straight swap and no monies actually changed hands. Within hours it was apparent that there were multiple issues with the Discovery and it should never have been put up for sale. It was returned the next day. Requested the Ranger back but was advised it had already been sold. It was confirmed in writing and a recorded call that the money paid would be returned on Monday 22nd June into my bank account. This was a considerable amount of money in excess of £16,000. Monday came and the money had not returned. I tried to contact them by email and phone but was ignored, After getting assistance from a friend who works in compliance we managed to put enough pressure on them to release the funds and I received a refund less £199 administration fee. I immediately queried this having checked with trading standards and being advised that this was not legal. They advised that it is on their website and they will not be refunding.

If anybody else encounters problems with these charlatans please be aware of the following information and bodies that can be of assistance:

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 – particularly regarding goods not being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described. They are categorically not allowed to charge an administration fee as the vehicle was faulty.

The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (CPRs) – relating to misleading actions or omissions.

The FCA’s Principles for Business (if you arranged finance), including Principle 6 (Treating Customers Fairly) and Principle 7 (Clear, Fair and Not Misleading Communication).

The Motor Ombudsman’s Code of Practice for Vehicle Sales and Service & Repair, which sets out minimum standards for transparency, complaint handling, and customer care.

Trading standards should also be contacted if you have also been a victim to their malpractice.

They are part of a company called Taz Begum Ltd 54 Albany Road Old Windsor SL4 2QA so may be worth contacting them with any complaint also.

Best advice I can give is avoid at all costs but if you have been conned please do take all of the actions mentioned above.

Now to add insult to injury they have an advert of a car coming soon on their website under cover but has the spec of my Ford Ranger you could not make this up.

Absolutely dreadful experience

Absolutely dreadful experience. Car wasn't ready to pick up jaguar i-pace as they couldn't even get into the car. They notified me the evening before I was about to pick it up the car. Red flag decided not to go ahead. Ask for a refund of the deposit I put down with no acknowledgement of the payment I made. 2 and 1/2 weeks later after endless emails. Text messages nothing had to raise a dispute with my bank in order to get a refund and they advise me to put a negative review on their website as this company should not of asked me for my sort code account number. They should have just done a charge back to my card but they made me go through the hassle of waiting for 2 weeks then raising a dispute and eventually. I was told by my bank that no company should be asking you for your bank details. If you ask for a refund for an item that you have not received, they should be doing an automatic chargeback. Not asking for such sensitive data which I guess in my case was just purely a stalling tactic and almost the punishment for me not going ahead with the car but reading other customer reviews. I'm glad I didn't go ahead. This company's not even worthy of a one-star review
