Terrible place!
Terrible place. What did NOT go wrong? Promised one thing. Got another. Hard to contact them. Given wrong customer service number, wrong website, and no assistance. And the ring is garbage. Is it so think it's like a teeny wire. Just awful. Now I can't print a return label o send it back. The submit button is grayed out. And I am not getting return emails for help.

Honestly could not be worse. I have been looking at their jewelry for several years and decided to finally pull the trigger. I got 2 chokers and 4 rings (>$1000).
Issue #1: they decide to put up a valentines day sale the day after with a free gift and will not honor that for me.
Issue #2: the rings I ordered do not fit even after a. measuring 3 times with the ring fitter and b. comparing to other rings I have (Me&Ro).
Issue #3: I asked to exchange the rings for a half size lower since they just fall off (how they are so big compared to ones I already have I don't know). They said no exchanges. Spending $470 just for rings that I can't even wear now what the?

Terrible experience. I ordered a pair of pearls earrings and they’re cute but definitely poor quality. The pearls were barely attached. The earring broke after just one month and the back clasp was too lose and got lost. The customer service was useless since I’m an international customer: no refund, no reparation, no substitution. Also they’re site doesn’t allow reviews so I have no way of letting other customers know how cheap the earrings are.
Products look like the Wish version of photos on their website!
The band Catbird sent me looks nothing like the photos on the website. Most of the time I would let something like this go and just enjoy it for what it is, but this is my *wedding ring* that I will be wearing forever and I am extremely disappointed it isn't what Catbird led me to believe based on the photos.
I've gone back-and-forth with their customer service about this with EXTREMELY detailed evidence, but they continue to gaslight me and stated they are not going to accept a return.
There is a huge difference between the beautiful craftsmanship displayed on the listing and the obvious laziness and complete lack of quality in the ring I received.
I ordered a ring with stars and received a ring with Xs. I did NOT order a treasure map for my wedding ring and I will not accept their agents attempting to downplay the issue that I have very clearly explained with visual and detailed proof.
I understand them saying each ring is "one of a kind", but nowhere on the listing does it say the ring I receive will look nothing like the listing at all. There is not a single ring on either listing that looks like the one I received. I wanted a variation on a specific scheme, not a whole different visual design. Entire advertised design elements being missing is tantamount to fraud. It's a whole different concept.
And furthermore, what is the point of the zodiac illustrations on the listing if the rings are going to just be decorated randomly? Based on my two combined signs, Scorpio and Aries, there is only the possibility of having ONE X and multiple asterisks. You certainly shouldn't have MORE Xs than the design calls for.
I can’t believe Catbird would just sell some "random" ring in place of the one pictured.
For those prices, you really need to take individual pictures of each ring if they are going to be THAT different. I understand them being somewhat different, but the shaping is entirely different, it’s not domed at all, they just used thick rectangle wire for my actual one. I know this is long winded, but I am hoping you can avoid the same fate! Save your money or use it somewhere where they care about their customer.

I had a terrible experience with this company. They sent the wrong product. I ordered a white gold chain to go with a white gold pendant I had bought as a gift. When it showed up it was yellow. White Gold is more expensive. They specialize in fine smaller jewelry which really means cheaply made. When I contacted them they said no exchanges or returns on International purchases.They really don't care. Don't buy from this company.

TERRIBLE SUPPORT.
Ordered my engagement ring on June 4th following their online sizing, but still allowing plenty of time for resizing prior to our destination wedding. Ring arrived after 2.5 weeks and needed to be resized; no big deal other than the somewhat slow 3-4 week turnaround time which is their advertised standard. The ring came back after 6 weeks (2nd week of August), but that's not the worst part: they had literally done NOTHING. The ring came back the same size! Even though there were 3-4 weeks prior to our departure, there were not 6-8 weeks, so I opted to get it resized upon return (20 day vacation). Sent it to them upon return, and I'm still waiting for the ring, as they didn't do ANYTHING above and beyond to remedy this situation; e.g. expediting the resize. When I asked them for an update (because expecting them to communicate without prompt is a pipe dream), they told me that they're in week 3 of their 3-4 week resize window. NO KIDDING! I don't need you to tell me that, I can look at a calendar!

The ring was very nice - the customer service continues to be terrible.
I ordered an engagement ring from Catbird, and knowing I was likely to get the size wrong, I specifically asked whether the ring I was ordering could be resized. Fast forward a few months and I've proposed with the ring and need to get it resized from a 6 to a 7. I'm now told that resizing is only possible within .75 of the original size - something that had never been mentioned before. It took me reaching to Catbird's Instagram account to actually get someone to look at this case (they didn't pick up their phone or reply to emails, the chat response gave me the canned .75 response). When their
"customer experience manager" finally emails me offering an exchange, it takes them another week to reply to my follow up question. It's been a month and a half since I proposed and my partner still can't wear her ring comfortably. Bad policies I can forgive to an extent - absolutely abysmal communication I cannot. Thus this review.

I’ve purchased a few thousand dollars worth of jewelry from Catbird over the last year or two and each piece is still in wonderful condition! I have jewelry from their own in house line and their vendors like Jennie Kwon and have had no issues at all! On the rare occasion I’ve had to reach out to customer service, like an incorrect bracelet size, I received a quick and very “personalized” reply. None of that scripted/canned response nonsense. I’ve recommended them to everyone I know.

Taken the ring into a jewellery shop to get it valued for insurance. They said it was badly made and cheap stones

The Twisted Stacker Ring is one of the many rings I have bought from this gorgeous little NYC shop. The price is good for the exceptional quality. The rings are so pretty and delicate...I wear them daily (twisted stacker, mignon memory ring, hammered ring, first knuckle ring).
