We believe this review has been posted against the wrong business we are not 'Catercall'.

We are Catercare (www.catercare.com) and we do not sell aluminium pizza trays/plates. The circumstances described in this review therefore do not relate to our business, and we have no record of the transaction, order or £372.12 payment referred to.

We would ask the reviewer to please check the name of the company they purchased from and remove this review from our Trustpilot profile, as it is incorrectly attributed to Catercare and is causing reputational damage to our business.

If the reviewer believes this transaction was genuinely made with Catercare, we invite them to provide us with the relevant order details so that we can investigate immediately. Otherwise, we will be reporting the review to Trustpilot as incorrectly attributed and defamatory/misleading, and reserve our right to take further appropriate action to protect our company and reputation.

We are always happy to resolve genuine customer concerns, but it is not reasonable for our business to receive a damaging review relating to a purchase that we did not make or supply.

I am sorry that you feel let down but it was certainly not our aim in any way to have misled you about the cost.

A quotation for the repair was sent to you which you then replied to giving the go-ahead for, unfortunately, it would appear from your comments that because you were on holiday at the time you did not read the attached quotation and thought that the invoice we had sent for the initial call out charge to inspect the appliance was in fact the quotation for repairs.

As you had replied to our email stating to go ahead, we then rdered the parts to be delivered directly to you and returned and fitted them as requested, it was not until you returned from your holiday and received the invoice for the parts and repair work that you realised that you had made an error and this is where the dispute began.

With regards to your comments that we insulted you that we offered you to pay for the bill over a period of three months, this was a goodwill gesture and is something some of our customers are grateful for and at no time did we wish to make you feel that we did not think you could afford it.

As per our email correspondence despite in our opinion, this not being our fault, with consideration of the fact that all of our call-out and labour charges were provided in the first instance and all quotations for works were also provided in writing and a written go-ahead was provided by you, in order to resolve the situation promptly at a loss to ourselves we agreed for you to pay only half the cost, yet despite this, we are now left with what is in our opinion an unfair and unjust one-star review.
