In November 2024, I placed an order worth £9,000 for materials to build a fully bespoke kitchen. Everything was delivered correctly and went smoothly at the time.
Two weeks ago, I contacted CBJ to request two additional sheets of the same material for the same project. The owner confirmed over the phone, followed up in writing via email, and included notes in the order confirming that the materials would match exactly.
Unfortunately, what was delivered was incorrect. I returned the materials immediately. Since then, there have been multiple email exchanges, during which CBJ has refused to acknowledge any fault. Instead, they blamed their supplier and shockingly told me to deal with the supplier directly.
I followed up several times, explaining the urgency and how this issue was affecting my relationship with my end customer. Eventually, the owner of CBJ called me personally. Rather than offering a solution, he was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional—telling me, and him quote, "I don't give a s*** about your wrong materials," and said he would just issue a refund.
In all my years in business, I’ve never encountered someone as unprofessional and disrespectful. Shon, you are a complete liar, and your handling of this situation has been disgraceful.
