My orders were despatched and recived quickly. When I had a queery about my order's tracking number not being visible on the courier's web site, I was sent an email explaining what was happening promptly.

Im very happy with my first time…

Im very happy with my first time purchase.
I would how ever want to make a suggestion.

I think the grading system should be on show for people to understand what each grade means for each item.
I would rather know what I'm paying for rather than it being a lottery as such hoping you get your monies worth.

I would rather know if theres a scratch on a monitor screen or a lead or remote control missing. Rather than it then up and be disappointed.

Delivery issues

I ordered from CCL two months ago, and my order was never delivered. DPD returned the parcel back to them, which was confirmed both on the tracking information and by their managers.
After that, they decided to hold my money for over two months without shipping my order or refunding me. This is completely unacceptable. Whenever I contacted them by email, they replied very slowly and kept telling me to “wait” for almost two months.
I do not recommend buying anything from this company because if you have any delivery issues, they will not help you at all. I lost both my time and my money because of this experience.

Hi Bradley,

Thank you for leaving your review. Firstly, I would like to apologise for how long it is taking with the investigation, but it was outlined to you via email what steps have been taken and that it is currently out of our hands.

We are in contact with the courier and as soon as we have any updates on your case, you will be updated.

Kind regards,

Self build new Win11 PC

Self build new Win11 PC
Purchased 1TB M.2 WD SSD drive from CCL. It was the last one in stock. I find this a worrying issue as can mean no stock. I used Trustpilot to gain faith to use this company at it was my first purchase. No issues, item arrived in perfect condition, well packaged, next day after it was dispatched. I went on to buy a Coolermaster CPU heatsink/fan. Both items are now installed and working. Many thanks CCL

Excellent experience.

We had an excellent experience with CCL. The fact that the basket shows you compatibility is very helpful. Good deals, a good range of components to choose from. We have built an excellent gaming PC almost entirely from CCL. When I needed to speak to someone with a query in advance of placing my order, it was great that I could get through to a human on the phone. Would definitely recommend !

Just bought a Aorus rtx 5080

Just bought a Aorus rtx 5080. Called beforehand to check stock and then placed the order. The whole process was really smooth and easy. Delivery was very fast and the card was packed in a secondary box for safety. This is the first time placing a order with CCL but really happy I did. Also I really appreciate the fact that they didn't stress me out for a review straight away but only sent me a polite email a week after my purchase.

Basically thieves disguised as a store

Absolutely disgusting company.. Spent £1500 on an ASUS graphics card only for it to be wrapped in plastic and turned up with the box smashed in. CCL attitude is thats how they send them out wrapped in Plastic as the box is designed to take the impact..asked for an exchange at the door only to be told no they don,t do that.. So I asked if i could drive to the store and get it exchanged but the answer is no
It has to be done by post and they claim the fault lies with DPD for the damage. well maybe if they put it in a box with some more wrapping then it would not have turned up in the state it did but their attitude stinks totally unhelpful they could not careless and they deserve to go bankrupt for all i care Take my ADVICE stay away and go elsewhere do not give these thieves your money because thats effectively what they have done.. Took payment and coming out with every excuse under the sun not to resolve the issue at all if trust pilot allowed photo,s i will happily share

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the service you received.

I’ve looked into your case and can see that you contacted us both by email and phone. During your call, our agent explained the return policy for damaged goods and offered you the option of either a refund or a replacement. They also offered to generate an RMA to help resolve the issue as quickly as possible. At the time, you mentioned that you would get back to us once you had made a decision.

Our agent also followed up with you via email to assist further. If you would still like us to resolve this for you, please respond to that email and we’ll be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Doesn't Care About Customers - Their Brand Rep Made Fun of My Disability in Response To Valid Critique

CCL had an event on the 1st of April. I generally don't take part in these things because they always boil down to just getting people to inflate socials, boring.
However this one they advertised as a scavenger hunt, so it sounded fun, 'Hunt through the site and solve the clues to get to the end!' was the exact words. It took till clue 3 for them to redirect you OFF SITE to their socials to do the usual 'inflate our numbers' pull.
Also the clues prior to that were all just about promoting Chill Blast products, I later learned that Chill Blast bought CCL in 2024, this isn't disclosed at all in the event, I just thought they were really enthused about Chill Blast. Which, under my understanding of UK law is a ASA violation (which I have since filed).

So, I, instead of following their social media, left a comment, which conveyed the valid criticism relayed above. Their brand rep, whoever they are thought it was wise to completely ignore what I said and instead attack me personally for things on my personal page, in relation to spelling and grammar. Not only is this a weak man's refute, but I am severely dyslexic, which is conveyed on my page. I am also a 6-year long CCL customer. I build computers as a hobby, I've built them for other people, I've spent a lot of money on CCL, only to be personally attacked for saying (correctly) that they mislead me and wasted my time (which I said very politely I should add)?

So what does CCL want, people like me with dyslexia, to just shun away from society, to not be able to partake in things or else risk company brands of all things personally attacking me the moment I say they're doing something wrong? I don't care about my dyslexia, I'm well over trying to hide away from it or have it not be known to others. I do care about awful customer service.

Speaking of, after this happened, I responded to their personal attack, saying it was irrelevent to my point and unprofessional, I DM'd the account and messaged both CCL and Chill Blast, and the disregard they've shown me is very concerning.
I really hope nobody ever finds themself with any reason where they need to contact CCL support or Chill Blast because the appalling lack of care or value I've felt in doing so would be reason enough to never use CCL again.

Seriously though, how hard is it just to sincerely say sorry and just address the point. I wasn't even originally asking for a response, but if you want to pipe up and throw insults, why not just respond to what was and still is, a good point? From what I gather CCL is trying to do the (very dated) Wendy's social media approach of being insulting to customers but, beyond understanding that everyone has moved on from this and nobody finds it endearing in 2026. They also fail to understand that there's a big difference between a computer component company talking like a sassy school girl in contrast to a fast food company. It's just not professional and not what anybody wants or needs.

Had they just acted professional at least once during this whole thing, I wouldn't feel compelled to leave this review. I've tried dealing this with CCL directly, but CCL seem to relish in picking the worst choices.
Use Overclockers instead, they treat customers great (even have a great forum that can be very helpful), always give good, meaningful updates on stock, and always have the same deals on.

So..... after plenty of back and forth (and banging my head against a wall)

So.....

Ordered a new graphics card, with an accompanying PSU, as the graphics card, and computer wouldnt function without it.

DPD were the delivery company, and after a 5 second knock, failed to deliver on the first attempt, and nearly missed the second, as the driver seemed to be running on a timer per delivery. But thats a DPD issue, and doesnt play the main role of the issue at and, its a mere sidenote.

The PSU came, missing an essential cable to power everything it needed to, due to this, i had to Amazon Prime a replacement cable, as i need a working computer to get things done, and now comes the attempt to resolve this before reviewing.

Notified CCL about the missing cable, that i had to replace it, and that it wasnt on and would like either, the cost of the cable covering (either credit or cash was fine, and probably the easiest solution), or a replacement.

These were offered at the start, and then depreciated to only replacing the PSU, and only then by sending the one i had back first before even doing a replacement, which is unacceptable as a PSU makes my computer work, and the estimated 5-10days for them to correct thier mistake is very unacceptable.

I'm open to conversation about remedying this situation, but right now, very not happy as it could have been resolved so easy

CCL Claim Bent CPU Socket Pins To Avoid Refunding or Replacing

Now I have received my chargeback payment from the bank I'll provide my order info :)

Order # 5084375
1080p Gamer Motherboard Bundle
Order Date : 18th March 2026

Be Warned - Do NOT buy a pre-assembled motherboard bundle !!!

After a previous review praising their support team from my telephone conversations with them, I'm now forced to write another review.
We ordered a pre-assembled Motherboard & CPU bundle which arrived with the CPU & Ram already seated.
When installed in a pc case the system wouldn't post and after numerous calls with their support team we initially thought is was faulty ram.
On inspection they claimed the CPU socket pins were bent, sent some photos showing bent pins, claimed this was damage caused by the customer and not covered by the warranty and would not refund or replace.

You only have to search the reviews for the keywords "bent pins" and this seems to be a very common occurrence with CCL !!

This bundle was pre-assembled BY THEM & we had no reason to remove the CPU at all. It was clearly shipped out broken or broken once we requested a refund.
Their response was "We're sending you the broken parts back" ..
Our response was simple, do NOT return these faulty items & we've since filed a chargeback.

Word of warning, ensure you photograph the items when they arrive should you need to return them

Speedy Build, Great Technical Support

Ordered a custom PC in late October 2025, with the expectation it could take a couple of weeks to arrive. Couple of days later I get the email that it's being built, and is ready to ship within about a week of the order being placed. Superb!

Today I had to call the technical support line to get help with a network issue I've been trying to solve for a long while.

Spoke to Martin, who was extermely helpful and knowledgable. After I explained the issue I was having and all the steps I had done to try and sort it, he suggested checking for newer network drivers from the motherboard manufacturer site, rather than trying to roll them back as I had tried. He helped talk me through the installation steps, and check the updates had been applied. All the while being extermely polite and pleasing to talk with. Time will tell if this was the route cause of the issue, but there's no doubt he or his colleagues will be able to help me out again if needed!

The only *very* minor gripe; the PC came with all I'd need to get it working, but it didn't come with the AMD Ryzen sticker to put on the case. But that's just me wanting to show off!

Faulty “New” Gaming PC & Extremely Poor After-Sales Service

I purchased a brand new gaming PC from this company, and it broke down within just one day.

I requested a like-for-like replacement, which I believe is reasonable for a brand new product. However, I was told the unit needed to be inspected first. After waiting for one week, I had to chase them myself before they finally informed me that the motherboard was faulty and required repair.

When I asked how long the repair would take, they were unable to provide any timeframe at all.

I tried to offer reasonable solutions:

I offered to pay extra to upgrade the motherboard, but they asked me to pay £43 labour plus the full cost of the new motherboard.
I also suggested paying extra to switch to a different PC, but this was also refused.

In the end, I am the one expected to wait indefinitely for their problem.

This PC was meant to be a birthday present for my child. The birthday has already passed, and now it has been almost a month without receiving a working PC.

I have:

Filed a complaint → No response
Requested a refund → No response

Based on this experience, I seriously question whether the product sold as “new” was actually refurbished or previously repaired, as a genuinely new product should normally be eligible for a quick replacement from the supplier without such a long delay.

I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company.
