If I could have chosen no stars I would…yes

If I could have chosen no stars I would have! I went to see Carolina for powder brow cosmetic tattooing. Before the procedure I had told her I’m getting this done for my wedding and to hide scars I received whilst suffering a domestic violent relationship years prior. So this procedure was extra important to me. I showed Carolina a photo of what I wanted and she assured me that what I wanted was easy! What I got was nothing like what I wanted. What she did was much thicker and about 4 shades darker than what I wanted. I expressed that at the time she told me to give it the 2 week healing period and that they will lighten to what I wanted. What happened when healed was not what she assured me. All that happened was that now you can see how uneven and patchy the tattoo is. My eye brows are a completely different shape to one another. One is rounded at the inner end and the other is dead straight. My eye brows are no longer thin and shapely. They are thick, heavy and dark. I look like I have 2 caterpillars on my face. I have fair skin and blonde hair so I look ridiculous. I went back to Carolina and she told me she can go over them with lightening ink. I did not trust her. She then said she could lighten the patchy bits with laser. To my stupidity I trusted her. She used some kind of laser on my face. It burnt my skin and singed my eye brow hair. Leaving me with big red painful welts on my face. When I returned again to get my money back, which is the least that should have been offered, she then told me that first I have to sign a disclaimer. Therefore she would only return my money if I shut up about the disaster she has created permanently on my face. Carolina is a gaslighter. She tries to get you to think that either there’s nothing v wrong and that I was just an anxious bride, which is far from the truth, she also tried to blame my skin for producing the colour she tattooed on my face. So not only did she refuse to reimburse me for damage caused she tried to force me to sign something that stops me from writing this review or going any governing bodies to report her. She is a manipulating gaslighter who does not know what she’s doing when it comes to eye brow tattooing. I urge you to look elsewhere if you are considering going to Celluderm. If nothing else take a look at the products displayed on the shelving behind the desk (which sadly I did not notice until after the fact). All products bought at a supermarket. Not the products you would expect a reputable and professional comsmetic and beauty clinic would normally stock. Be careful. Be aware. DO NOT TRUST! If I could up load photos I would so you could see for yourself!

Celluderm st kilda rd st kilda…

Celluderm st kilda rd st kilda Melbourne VIC

Carolina is at it again, burning people with no empathy or guilt.

I feel compelled to write this review as a warning to others, even though Carolina has an excuse or an answer for everything rather than take responsibility. I would also be wary of the fake 5 star reviews
I have worked at a dermal therapist for years and moved to Melbourne. I saw Celluderm offer HIFU. I Also know HIFU is expensive due to the cartridges. You also notice when you walk in to celluderm a shelf of cheap supermarket $2 products, so straight away you know it's about saving money for her.
I booked an appointment. I turned up on the day. No consent form, which is really odd and dangerous. Carolina started doing ipl? I was confused and said this is IPL? She gaslight me in to thinking technology has changed, I even said the machine says Hair removal and noted the settings are for ipl and said you dont wear protective glasses for hifu as it doesn't flash? again was told a story and gaslight. Well any GOOD therapist knows not to ipl tanned skin and because she did IPL and NOT HIFU I have been burnt. And no, not slight erythema, burnt and raised freckles, the machine was flashing like ipl does. On my way home I went to a reputable salon in Brighton and asked their opinion on my burns and it was confirmed its obviously ipl and not HIFU.
I have sent an email but her response again was not applicable. Im not saying she doesnt have HIFU machines, but she definitely did not use it on me.
Lucky I have taken a picture of her machine, settings and my burns. I have reported to the ombudsman and the board of dermal therapy and awaiting legal advice. There is a reason they are on Groupon and a reason they are empty. Stay away.
