Had my beloved Scirocco R mk3 stage 1 tuned by the very pleasant Kevin of Celtic Tuning. My car was tuned from 267 to 330bhp with 400 lb of torque. It took an hour

as the car has transformed into a pocket rocket!

I have just had my 535d remapped to 400bhp .I recently owned a 435d x drive which was the quickest I had ever owned,but after this remap this 5 series is probably quicker from 30 up to the speed limit!!!
Kevin the technician was first class, i cant recommend him enough.
Its early days yet but I will keep you posted.
The sport displays were also re calibrated to show 400hp and enough torque to roll up the tarmac behind you.

Drove 3.5 hrs to these guys on a recommendation..when I arrived i met a lovely receptionist who took a few details from me and then I was offered coffee. The lady showed me to the sitting area ( i thought was cool ) they had products on show and the latest monitors to view the work on your car ! Brilliant service! Had my 2017 Kia Rio 1.4 CRDi remapped from 86bhp to 115bhp and 177ft/lbs to 205ft/lbs. Made it more responsive and far better to drive than the stock map. Hills are now an absolute breeze and it really showed an increase in mpg when cruising at 70mph down the A30, from 60mpg stock to 78mpg remapped. Great remap on my Honda civic 2.2 icdti, the car now has a much better pull on acceleration and so much quicker in general, I would 100% recommend celtic tuning!

Unfortunately the remap didn't work - it felt great at first but caused my car's turbo to shut down into safety mode during use so had to be reprogrammed back to standard. They are looking into this to see if a cure is available. The service and staff were excellent, its just the product didn't work - hence the 2 star review. Vauxhall Insignia 2.8T VXR.

Brilliant. Was a little bit of a sceptic, being in the motor trade you feel all these remaps etc are too good to be true, after a couple of weeks and 500 miles later it’s a totally different vehicle to drive. Nothing untoward, no extra smoke, just runs like it should but with plenty more power. 2015 Peugeot boxer.

The map damaged my Ecu after 4 weeks of having it done now I need a new ecu over a £1000 they won’t take responsibility,so it’s costing me over £1000 plus the price of the map
Stay away from them they are just a generated map,not written to the car

Left my car with a broken ECU.

It is now showing fault code Ford - P1187, which is consistent with other reports online when the ECU is flashed over the ODB port it can cause corruptions which results in a checksum failure. ECU should have been backed up via the BDM port (direct connection to the ECU) to prevent this happening.

Anyway I took the car back to them a second time to give them the benefit of the doubt, and they went ahead and remapped it again, even though the ECU was reporting this fault code P1187. I suspect they tried to disguise the issue by unplugging the mass air sensor to cause more fault codes but whatever.

They were adamant the mass air sensor was the cause of the problem, well I've since changed it because of a flat spot on the dyno run, the fault code remains, which I knew it would anyway.

I suspect they knew the ECU was now unfixable by them and they were just making up excuses. Anyway I thought a company this size would be more technically minded not to let this sort of thing happen.

Take heed, if you take your car there, and should Celtic Tuning break it, they don't claim any responsibility, part of the disclaimer they make you sign.

This could be very serious if you're travelling from a far and they brick your ECU, your car will be immobile, and I doubt insurance is going to pay to recover it.

Kevin from Celtic tuning came to remap my Vauxhall Astra 1.9 cdti the other day and he was incredible helpful and friendly. He did a great job and let me take the car for a drive before I paid for the service. I could not recommend these guys enough.

The car feels like a monster now. I just had a stage 1 and it feels like a completely different car. It started out at 120bho and is about 180 - 190bhp now.

Excellent! Really pleased with the remap that I had on my BMW diesel. I had a map by someone else and the torque and power was not nearly as good as this Celtic remap. I've recommended a couple of friends with the same car as me to go to the dealer local to me in Kent, in Rainham. They have a special offer going every now and then so worth calling them. Definitely recommend! So much better now over standard. Even the fuel economy has increased on longer runs too!

Had ECU re-map installed in my Mercedes SLK R171, 2008 on Wednesday 12th April. Your technician, whose name I,ve sadly misplaced*, was courteous, efficient and prepared to answer any questions thrown at him.
He was, without a doubt, a fine example of someone who knew that his dedication to doing a good job would, in the long run, benefit customers, himself and Celtic Tuning. Well done all.
Am delighted with result; throttle response has been transformed for the better without any degradation in consumption figures.

Celtic Tuning claim to be able to map most cars, this suggests there are some short cuts made in their "developments". My Subaru Forester lost fuel economy after the Stage 1 remap. Furthermore the power has not increased, just moved up the rev range making the car less drivable.
When I reported that I would like my original map replaced and my money returned, I was first told there must [suddenly] be a problem with my car and then told I was outside their money back 14 days. I have had many cars chipped, mostly for economy reasons. They are usually worth the money but on this occasion, most definitely not.
