I can honestly say that Central Moves displayed the winning ingredients: Responsive; Reliable; Trustworthy and Personable. Both the back office and the removal crew were straightforward, helpful and made our move uncomplicated. Would definitely recommend.

I recently used central moves to move my father. From the moment I called them they were friendly yet professional. Unlike other quotes I looked into I didn't have to do a online tick sheet or a video and send it to them?, Central moves straight away offered to come a view my father's property at the earliest convenience for us. The price they gave was a true reflection of the job I had asked them to do and I was very happy with the price. They came the day before the move and packed my father's house up 80/90% a four person team who were polite, certious and professional.
On the day of the move it was as stress free as they could have made it. The 3 person team arrived on time and left with absolutely everything in good time.
On arrival there was no damage and the team of Paul, Alfie and Ryan were fantastic, unfortunately the 4th person was needed elsewhere on the day of the move and my father didn't get their name however they were all friendly and professional throughout. The house was delivered safe and sound and unpacked into my father's new house without question. They were fast and efficient. The whole experience was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Central moves over other local companies.

Central Moves were excellent from start to finish in our move from South West London to Bath.

They handled all aspects of the booking, packing, removal, storage and delivery of our belonging with ease.

They even took into account the new Clean Air Zone implemented in Bath and sent vans that were compliant and avoided the charge.

Central Moves, removals and storage based in Twickenham, handled my move in central London last week and made a deeply stressful move (the culmination of a long, emotional housing journey) completely easy. From start to finish, office staff were professional, helpful and courteous. The team who did the move were supremely professional, knowledgeable, funny and nothing was too much for them. They handled my furniture and belongings with so much care and respect. They disassembled my sofa, ottoman beds and single beds and reassembled them perfectly at our new home.
I cannot sing their praises enough and thank you doesn’t really cover it.
I highly recommend this company.

I used Central Moves for my move in March. John and Ricky turned up early, dismantled a heavy wardrobe and moved all my boxes and furniture quickly.

Central Moves have handled my domestic move before Christmas. Now that we have finally settled down in our new home I have found the time to write about our positive experience. The whole team has been very prompt and helpful. The crew handled brilliantly my grand piano and high valued antique furniture. All necessary measures were taken from covering the floors and using special gloves. I really appreciate the care and expertise of this company and would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be using them again for our next move!

I recently had the pleasure of Central Moves assisting with my move. I was filled with complete confidence from my first point of contact to the crew leaving having completed my move. They were exceptional from the off and had my complete trust whilst in my property. Very reliable, honest group of guys who I couldn't recommend highly enough.

One of the movers (who happens to be the brother of the owner) STOLE cash from one of the handbags being packaged. Not only that, the team managed to break one of the desks and reassemble the wardrobe incorrectly.

No longer registered with the BAR (as opposed to their T&C's), insurance doesn't cover cash (or so they claim) and hey, they told us to report it to the police as if there is any piece of evidence for the police to do anything. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

The guys were helpful, efficient and great to work with. They couldn't do enough to make the experience as painless as possible.

Booked time in diary but no one showed up for the survey. I called and there a issue on their side. Just poor tbh.

If you are looking for a removal firm who does what it says on the tin look no further than Central Moves. From start to finish the service was excellent. From Aileen on the phone to the lads who did the move I cannot fault these guys. They packed our three bedroom house in a day, put it all into their own storage (as there was a gap between selling and completion on our new place) and delivered on time on the moving day, unloading the whole house in less than 3 hours. Finding a decent removal company was a headache I didn't need and these guys were friendly, efficient and often amusing. One word, Superb. Thank you Central Moves, highly recommended.
