I was sceptical but it turned out great!
I was a little sceptical about ordering from this site as it's relatively new and has a low rating on Scam Detector (because of how new the website is etc.).
However, they accepted PayPal, so I figured that I had nothing to lose and that if it was a dodgy website, PayPal would have my back.
I love Star Trek, so the option to get an LED mouse mat with a personalised ship name AND ship registry number was really appealing.
I bought two, one LED Prometheus class mouse mat and one LED tactical display mouse mat.
I wish I'd paid attention to the measurements, but I was geeking out so badly. These things are HUGE. I thought it was a mouse mat but it's designed to go under the keyboard AND mouse. They're really long.
They're very good quality, but my only criticism would be that the transfer print is not great. On the ship schematic you cannot read most of the writing. Other than that, if you're not bothered about reading everything like it's a tech manual book, then they look great.
The team were responsive to my e-mail queries about the personalisations.
I paid £15 from bargain store B&M for a plain black mouse mat with LED outline by Goodmans. These mouse mats have the print and are twice the size and only cost about £23-24. I think they're worth the money, but hope they can improve the quality of the transfer in future.
I ordered on 5 March 2023 (a Sunday), they were dispatched on 13 March 2023 and arrived from China today 22 March 2023. That's a pretty good turnaround from ordering a personalised item to receiving it from China. Most items I order from eBay take 30-40 days to get here, and they're not even personalised! The packaging is nice.
All in all I highly recommend CFM Store. Their Star Trek merch looks amazing. I like the look of their mugs styled after uniforms, with your name and rank included.
I'll definitely be ordering from here again for unique and quirky merch that you can't find anywhere else.
A great first time experience. Other businesses - in the UK - should learn from these guys. This is how you provide a good product and a good service!
