great books!

CGP books are widely used across schools and educational institutions and I'm not surprised. The purple physical books (all-in-one subject-specific books) are extremely well-presented, funny, and a pleasure to learn from. All content is structured nicely and in subjects like science and mathematics, I find the videos very useful.

I also really appreciate the digital services which are free with the physical copies. The quizzes, practice questions and explanations are very useful. I've never tried it although have also seen a popup asking if you'd like to email a question to a tutor, which is outstanding baring in mind these books are under £10 each.

Sure, they aren't completely affordable for everyone. If you purchase a book for each of your child's GCSE subjects, it can easily reach £100, although they are very much worth it.

The only request is that there were more books in a clearer format for English, as there are only specific books and it would be easy to create one for AQA English Language. I'd also appreciate a few more practice questions which would work well, instead of just a few small ones and full exam papers.

I purchased these books from Waterstones and Amazon so can't rate customer service or orders direct from CGP, although the only build issue is that the film they are covered in can wear away over time, and is quite difficult to remove.

Outstanding books with outstanding value!

If you buy online copies of their books, be warned that on a hard to find, separate tab, it tells you that you only buy a license for 3 years then they remove your books! I had no idea this would happen and then they took all of my books away. It’s ridiculous: if I buy a physical book they don’t take my textbooks away so why should they take back my digital books that I paid for? The rude customer services assistant gave me a ridiculous answer: “the courses change so there’s no point owning the books after three years”. Interesting, because last time I checked, Pythagoras’ theorem has been the same for over 2000 years.

The books are really inspirational, entertaining, clear and they cover most of what you need for your exams.

Ordered several study books over the last year. High quality and presented in a good study format. Like the fact that you can obtain a digital copy too through CGP online. Deliveries always arrive promptly. Overall very pleased.

This company provide excellent 11+ resources and have helped my son.

The books are good but the delivery is terrible. Tracking doesn't work, no delivery options if there's a missed delivery, then you get asked to ring a number for customer service which is a recorded message which just says goodbye and ends.

Brilliant customer service and speedy delivery. I ordered few books recently and accidentally order the same book twice. The customer service was excellent with sorting this mistake. They are polite, excellent response time and very helpful.Amazing customer service and the way communication is done makes you feel valued as a customer. I would highly recommend them. I look forward to purchasing from them again.

I ordered some books for my son but they came very dirty/muddy, which was very odd. At first I wasn't pleased but their customer service and speed of replying was absolutely exceptional. They gave free replacements for the books that were dirty. Very pleased as these books are also very helpful and have helped my son since GCSEs and he's now in A-Levels.

Very very good textbooks, reasonable prices, next day, helpful with problems.. even freepost returns if required. On line and by Phone.

Absolutely outstanding service! Ordered books on a Tuesday afternoon and they were delivered first thing on Wednesday. Amazing service despite all the crazy going on in the world. The books themselves are absolutely perfect and just what we need. Have been using these books since I was in High School and am now buying for my 9 year old daughter. Clear, concise and relevant notes & practice questions; the best in the market for revision books.

I bought the French and Science Key Stage 3 complete practice workbooks for my son from our local bookshop at the beginning of the new school year to help with his school work and revision for tests and have found them to be by far the best laid out and well written we've ever used. Having not been able to find the maths workbook in my local bookshop I went onto the CGP website to order from there instead. I ended up buying several books as they had a discount offer on and was astounded to find the courier waiting for me at my office door with the books at 9am having only ordered them at 3pm the previous day! Really impressed with both the quality of the books and the customer service!
