My partner sat on his sunglasses and…

My partner sat on his sunglasses and broke them. Chadderton opticians fixed the glasses even though we did not purchase them from the shop. The glasses looked perfect. Thank you very much. Would highly recommend and much cheaper than buying new glasses

My experience

I had an eye test at Chaddertonopticians on the 13th Feb 2026, collected my new glasses two weeks later which cost £340, on the way home I realised I was struggling to see with them so went to spec savers for a second opinion costing £25, spec savers confirmed that I’d been prescribed wrongly, went back to Chaddertonopticians who then agreed with spec savers.

I should have asked for a refund but decided to let them put things right, went back to collect my glasses about a week later and had to point out that the lenses didn’t look clean, they tried to clean the lenses and somehow broke the frame of the glasses, they then apologised and promised to get me sorted as quickly as possible,
That was 5 weeks ago, it’s now the 10th of April, still no word still no glasses.
Shambles.
