I was contacted by an individual saying…

I was contacted by an individual saying he worked for Chainaylsis and could recover my nearly 400K in crypto, he had info from Canada Anti-Fraud that they had my name and was ready to retrieve my lost crypto for me. Soon after this contact, maybe 2 days he sent me a detailed invoice to start the retrieval, 8,900$K to start the work.

Scammers

Scammers. Steer clear and DO NOT download any of their software onto your phone/laptop. I echo all the other genuine reviews here. Ignore the 5 star reviews, they are fake. They keep calling me saying I have £80,000 in a crypto account and they are here to help me recover it. Whilst Chainalysis looks like a legit company, these scammers are not from that company

Scammers using Chainalysis as a company name, making their way into your hard earned money.

BEWARE!!!
I received 5 calls today from a so called Tom Allen, an English name but this person was definitely not English. He had some kind of accent. Regardless and most important, he says to me that he's calling from Chainalysis and he's investigating my crypto currency account. Funny thing is, that i never invested in Crypto currency. I asked him where he got my information and he kept on telling me that it was from my Investment portfolio that he's investigating on and that he needed access to my 'any desk' on my computer. When he saw that I would not give him access, he said, 'i will send you an email'and I will you you back. He
I received a call back in less than 30 seconds. Being at work, I was on another line and did not answer and he kept on calling and calling, I finally picked up and I told him to stop calling me and to stop calling others and waisting everybody's time. His voice changed, he asked if I had read the email and I told him I didn't and wasn't going to. People, do not open any emails these scammers send you. For someone that doesn't catch on, this guy sounded so honest and of course using a real company's name, if you give in, at that moment, because he does put you under pressure saying that he wants to help and get his investigation going, you will fall into his TRAP. My suggestion to you all, is that, even you've invested money on a platform where you lost a few hundreds of maybe more, don't get caught again and end up losing more. Remember that there is no one in this whole world, that would waste their precious time to investigate on an investment that you've made and gone wrong. Chainalysis works with the banks and the government and their fee starts at about $20,000. Amazing that he's investigating my portfolio gone wrong and he never asked if I was willing to pay any fee for his work. All he was interested in doing was pushing me to open my computer and go on the platform he was asking. SCAMMERS USING CHAINALYSIS as their way into your pockets for money.
BE ON ALERT AND DO NOT GIVE IN. HANG-UP IF YOU MUST.
To Chainalysis: I do have the phone numbers of the person that called me.

Bunch of scam artists they did scammed…

Bunch of scam artists they did scammed me money using your company names if you are truly a good company you should not allow your company name to be use in scamming innocent people. If you have a case they should have a case number or file number for reference so if someone call using your company name client's have a case number to ask the caller.

These people are relentless

These people are relentless! I have been harassed by their employees for over 2 years now!! I stupidly invested some $300 CDN on some AI/Crypto scam found on FB, came to my senses and wrote it off. Now, according to them, my wallet has $93,679 CDN which they want to recover for me? I told them to go right ahead and take a percentage for their effort but they insist that I need to download an app in my phone which will allow them to "share" my information? Ah, no thanks! BE CAREFUL! They try way too hard to provide an alleged service. The employees are rude and talk over you when an important question is asked of them.

Beware of this company

Originally curious and it sounded legit but the amount that they claimed was in some wallet somewhere was excessive. Went to website which was very professional and claimed they were registered in New York. I checked the company registrations in New York.London. Finland and Belgium. No mention of this co, when I enquired where they were registered he showed me pages of irrelevant humph. As I insisted on knowing the country of registration he got angry, said i was acting like a 5year.old and understood nothing then put the phone down. Beware of this company. I think it is a SCAM

Unreliable and Misleading

Chainalysis is a disaster that likely leads to innocent people suffering unjust consequences. Their services are extremely unreliable, resembling more of a star-gazing exercise than actual science. Yet, they present themselves as precise and accurate, which is unfortunately a belief they've instilled in some courts. It's concerning to see such misleading claims affecting real lives.
