Maybe it's a sign of the times, were corporate shareholders run things, and profit matters, I ordered an XT cassette at comparable prices to other retailers, It arrived in a brown crc box, what happened to regular shimano packaging.. I am more than happy to get a good deal price on oem (non retail packaging) but be transparent and clear upfront. No mention of oem stock when I placed my order.

Ordeed Tuesday midday, tracking reference sent same day 6pm, but item not collected by Royal Mail for 24 hours, hence received Easter Saturday, had hoped for Thursday .
A rival components shop wizard delivered next day, for an order placed within mins of this..

Oh and my xt crank was in a crc brown cardboard box too, no mention of oem again, but the cheapest online price by 30%, so happy enough..

In summary I am happy to buy OEM, as long as you are open and honest upfront

I have bought many times to chainreactions, even a Downhill bike. i just can say that they very professional , offering good quality and service.

I placed an order a couple of weeks ago and there was problems with the promised discount, so I wrote customer service an e-mail asking if they could help me get the discount as advertised on their homepage. No answer. Tried again after 3 days, still no answer (it's been more than two weeks now and I have heard nothing yet). The most important thing about online shopping is that you're able to get in touch with costumer service, since you're not able to get in touch with the store otherwise! I'm disappointed, since the prices seems cheaper here, but what's the use of that if you're not able to get help with your order if needed?

My 1st port of call for cycling parts and bits.
Very quick postage and its hard to find cheaper prices.
And they have a telephone number to call should you have a problem or question unlike another online store!

I use Chain Reaction Cycles on a fairly regular basis as I build and repair/service Mountain Bikes in my spare time. They are a great company to deal with, Fantastic selection & at very good prices with lots of components in sales or on special offer. Delivery is Spot on.

Items are delivered on or before the delivery date and the prices are good. Not much more to say really.

Overall a great site, phone calls to customer service were excellent and delivery is always fast, with fast dispatch times too

Great selection! Great Customer Service! Fast turn-around time. Every time I placed an order, less than 12 hours I received a notification that the item has shipped with tracking number. Best thing, for $5.99 I get my items in the US from UK in 2-4 days. You can not beat that!

I ordered from couple of German on-line company (I posted reviews for those as well) And nothing came to me less than 6 weeks (I just received a bike light 10 weeks after it was ordered and 9 weeks after it was shipped by Bike-Components.de)

I ordered a couple of items of clothing from ChainReaction Cycles at the start of the year.

Both arrived swiftly, and as advertised.

One of the items developed a slight problem after 6/7months, so I contacted their Warranty team to raise the issue.
I couldn't be happier with the speed and efficiency with which they dealt with it!

Purchased an FSA Crankset Team Issue Triple road. Struggled to find it elsewhere as wanted 53-39-30. 53 is not so common any more. But they had it in stock at a brilliant price. Very efficient service ordered on-line, received acknowledgement straight away, dispatch notice the next day and arrived 2 days later even though I took the free delivery option of Royal Mail. Well packaged and all the fitting instructions & accessories. Very pleased.

Do not use Chain Reaction Cycles in the UK, they use Parcelforce which rates as the worst parcel delivery company on TrustPilot. Parcel force have messed me around for the passed three days and I still do not know when my parcel will arrive, and by the way, they've not even attempted a delivery yet.

I ordered some parts that took forever to show up. Out of frustration I wrote a negative review. As fait would have it the parts showed up the same day. I apologize Chain Reaction Cycles.

I have used CRC for approx 4 years and in that time I can honestly say they have never let me down,
The service I have received has been excellent. I have only had one parcel lost in post but they dispatched another soon after I contacted them. Great alround service

I often browse cycling sites in my lunch break but have always found this one very slow and difficult to choose the right size only then to find out it is out of stock or a different price? Also when they send out an offer and say "50" unbeatable products but there are only 46 on the page?

I have experiences from Chain reaction cycle for last 1- 2 years.

I have not received last order, I contacted the company.

They made me wait forever. Finally I did not get any items.

They would not credit refund back to me.

I do not recommend this company.

Pay more and Use reliable company.
