We had a great experience with Fern Bailey showing us properties around Chipping Norton. She was kind, respectful, and very supportive throughout, making the process feel easy and comfortable.

The purchase of my property failed to complete due to the actions of the Sales Progression Specialist, Katherine Badenhorst, who pressured us unnecessarily to exchange and complete before all enquiries in the chain had been resolved. Throughout the process I had been consistently proactive, yet her approach was often rude and condescending.

On the scheduled completion date, I was informed that we could not complete because the sellers at the top of the chain were unaware of the agreed date—despite this being arranged directly by Katherine.
Completion was then attempted again on the Monday; however, by that point my sellers had changed their minds and withdrawn from the sale, despite previously agreeing to proceed on the Friday.

As a result, I was left without a home, as my rental agreement had already ended due to being at the bottom of the chain. This left me with no notice period, no support, and no apology. Overall, it was an extremely distressing and disappointing experience.

We have a really good experience selling our property. Firstly we met with Fern who showed us round a property and we realised we need to put our on the market. Fern helped us arrange an appointment with Simon to come and see our property.Simon explained everything clearly and if we had any questions we could go into the office and ask. Fern was very good at keeping us up to date with things as we went along. It didn’t take long for the property to sell which was great as we didn’t need to have lots of viewing as my brother wasn’t well at the time and needed rest. The valuation of the property was significantly above that quoted by other agents and we were prepared to not quite achieve it. But with the work done by Chancellors we did achieve it, so very pleased.
