Brian has been today and has rectified all the issues we had raised, completed to a good standard with no hassle

Sales team and site managers at Hallows Rise have been fantastic. Always available to answer and deal with any issues.

The build of the new property had its typical build / snag issues and Phil the site foreman was very supportive in fixing maters.

However a couple of gripes.
I had leaks in my kitchen sink. And when fitting a water filter I found that the waster water pipes (u bend etc) were all loose.
This was a Friday afternoon job by the new starter!
Charles church please ensure you QA team do a thorough check prior to release.
Next the kitchen thro living room has the same plain emulsion paint applied. Fine for living room but NOT for kitchen or bathroom.
Seriously?
So any splashes of oil, milk, tomatoe sause when cooking all the walls makes a permanent marker. The paint is absorbent and NOT splash proof / water resistant / wipe clean. Worse still there are only two very thing coats of paint and when you clean marks off, you see the pink plaster within 3 tubs. Oh no.
Same in bathroom with shampoos, oils and make up marks.
Come on Charles Church.
Tbf they sent a handy man around to address.
He bought a small pot or regular muslin and touches up the spots.
Where is the bathroom and kitchen paint I asked. This is all I am given he stayed. FGS!
And he touched up the wooden gloss knot stains with emulsion! What?!!!!
However the toilet was fixed by the plumber well. The grouting touched in.
And the bath cracked. Bruce the ‘magic man’ was outstanding correcting it. His work is truly incredible.
So a 3-4 star rating. Pushed to a 4 as it’s lovely and super heat efficient.

However why have you allowed and EMF electric sub station to be build 10m from our balconies?

We have had an excellent experience buying at Jubilee Gardens - Warminster. Vicky from the sales team was excellent throughout the whole process. She was very patient with us, never pushy, and was also invaluable throughout the conveyancing period of the purchase in moving things along when things would slow or get stuck at a certain point.

We used the Part Exchange Scheme and it was brilliant, offered a fair price on our property and unlike other developers got great incentives on our plot too. (Normal practice is Part Exchange results in no other incentives offered)

We used the recommended solicitors and had an excellent experience with them too. They very much worked for us and challenged appropriately on anything needed.

After moving in we got a snagging survey done as is common practice now for piece of mind. We already thought the build quality was great and this was confirmed by the snagging firm we used.

Only minor snags and they have all been speedily rectified by another star Morgan the site manager. His communication has been amazing, quickly getting trades aligned to ensure as little disruption as possible.

After spending months reading horror stories on the internet of new builds in general (not specifically Charles Church) we expected a fight to fix anything identified but we shouldn’t have worried. There was no arguing, if we we not happy with something the team worked until it was put right.

We really got a sense of pride in their work from anyone we have interacted with in Charles Church/Persimmons.

We have the Fibre Nest broadband (A Persimmons brand) which is an initial requirement on our development at least for 12 months, and the service on it has been excellent, and the set up made super simple so we were connected 5 minutes after getting the keys.

Overall we would recommend our development and the Charles Church/ Persimmons team we have had the pleasure of dealing with.
