The adventure that Charlies organized for us in Tanzania was exactly in line with our expectations. A good mix of wildlife through safaris in combination with experiences with local people and local organisations was great. We wanted the revenues of journey to land as much as possible with local people, and that is how it was done. The local drivers and guides were amazing! Almost everything went smooth.

We had a nice trip to Tanzania last januari/februari. In advance we had good communication about our trip and put together the hole trip. We climed the kilimanjaro what was e very nice experience. After we did some safari's and local activities. We really liked our motorsafari, homestay and visit to the maasai. I think Charlies Travel is quite unique in these activities that they want to support the locals and you don't get back very touristic activities but more honest experiences from the local people.
We choose to not go to the bigger safariparks, but we did regret that afterwards because we defenitely saw less animals than we you go to the crowded parks. We ended up in Zanzibar what the perfect end was of our trip. If you want a bit more off the grid and pure experiences charlies travel is a very good option.

We had an amazing trip in South Africa thanks to Charlie's Travels. Before departure, they asked us about our wishes and tweaked the itinerary so that it fit our exact wishes. From there, the entire trip was smooth sailing; hotels, trips, everything we needed had been taken care of. The few times we did have questions or concerns, Susan and Stephanie were there 24/7 to meet all of our needs. Last but not least, the contact was very personal -- it was as having Charlie's angels watching over us, from a distance, while we climbed mountains, chased leopards and drank wine in Stellenbosch. Could not recommend them more highly!

We only had to book the international flight ourselves and the rest was done by Charlies Travels. We made a wonderful trip through Uganda that was arranged by Charlie’s Travel. They set up the whole trip and gave us an unforgettable experience. Well organized and flexibile schedule, professional and well informed driver who litteraly goes the extra mile for our wishes. Good mix in terms of accomodations. The most memorable and adventurous experience was the mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi - webale!

Had the best trip in Kenya, great communications, nice guides, fair price. I really enjoyed seeing Kenya in both places with tourist but also 'rougher' areas which gives you a broad view of the country. Also the travel guide Clarence and Melle were great!

In addition, they are cheaper than other providers. They work entirely with local partners and people with love for their country. You will notice that throughout the journey. We booked through Charlies Travel a self drive tour starting in Windhoek, Namibia and ending in Maun, Botswana. The great thing about Charles travel was that they listen to our wishes and exceeded the expectations. Surely our next African self drive tour will be through Charles Travel again
