After experiencing problems claiming a pension, I filled in an online form and was contacted by John O'Leary of Chase Belgrave. I am now about to receive my first pension payment, and it is not something I could have done without John's help. I am used to hit-and-miss business efficiency, with emails forgotten about, calls not returned, and a lack of flow and continuity to any business transaction. John's model is the exact opposite. Emails are returned within the hour, often with a back-up call to check clarity. Updates are a regular part of John's game, and you couldn't really find a friendlier, more knowledgeable chap to speak to about the - to me - minefield of claiming a pension which is around 20 years old. I meet a lot of people with pension difficulties, and would have no hesitation in recommending both John and Chase Belgrave. On a personal note, I would like to extend my thanks to John, and wish him all the best for the future. If he is your contact concerning pension queries, you are fortunate indeed! My only complaint is that there is no 6-star rating here...

John O’Leary was excellent. Having spoken to a number of adviser before I felt very unsure on what to do. Each adviser had told me to do something different and it felt very salesy. John explained all of the options available to me and ended my confusion. I would recommend John because he was the only one who really listened to me. I’m now reaping the rewards of his advice!

Without repeating too much from the reviews I can honestly say the following; I emigrated to Australia from the UK 13 years ago. I had really given much thought to the 3 Company pensions I had back in the UK, and no idea what they were doing, dealing with my previous employers was a nightmare. The UK tax office sent me details on external companies talking about taking control of your pensions offshore - Chase Belgrave was one of these.

I have no doubt that David Plumpton was headbutting his desk after every phoncall with me. I am not the easiest or most patient person on the phone. Fortunately for me David has patience, perserverance and expertise in bucketloads. Over countless emails and calls he talked me through every stage of the process of transferring my pension. I don't know yet how this is going to affect my pension pot but if you need any help or advice I can recommend David unreservedly. Thanks for sticking with me Dave.

Embarking on transfering out of my company pension scheme seemed very daunting, however Ben Crabb at Chasebelgrave made it all so much easier.
Nothing was too much trouble for him and was available to talk even on Saturdays if I had problems completing any forms.
