Chatr bad custmer service

Chatr bad custmer service, if 0 star, I will give 0,
called customer service 7 days, everytime message, and I left message, no one answer me.
I was double charged on my credit card, I was told too late to call, I supposed to call right away. ridiculous.

terrible company - do not use

Being sent confirmation details to my email address even though I do not have an account. Obvious hacking of my details and yet no way of reporting this as the "customer Care" email address bounces.

contradictory direction with no follow-up

1. the instructions on the SIM package are incorrect, as affirmed by every one of the 6 service workers I talked to - do not follow the instructions to insert SIM first thing or you will not get service.
2. everyone was reasonable on the phone, but unable to solve the problem.
3. If you follow the instructions and put the SIM in before your other provider releases you, no one at CHATR can do anything.
4. I cancelled the new account and am returning the SIM to store. Better to not be able to get phone calls at home in rural Nova Scotia than to deal with this catch22.

PSA - they will try to tell you that they are keeping one month's fee, even though they provided you with no cell service, but this is untrue. I said absolutely not - I will not be paying for service not delivered, and they cancelled the credit payment.

Chatr scammed me

Chatr scammed me, there was a promotional offer with chatr, if i pay 2 months i will get 1 month free. However after two months they didn't activate one month free promotion they disconnected my service. When i asked them they said i need to recharge one more month to get the promotion and i did that. After that also the promotion didn't get activated, when i asked they said your account got expired once so we can't give you this promotion anymore...all the best with Chatr. I am switching..

It took 3 technicians to help me with a…

It took 3 technicians to help me with a very simple issue.
The first one was super incompetent.
She couldn't make the connection to understand it was a spelling error.
The second sounds like he "knew"what he was talking about.
The third one only took 5 minutes to correct the spelling of my name which they did enter incorrectly from the very beginning. I would never recommend chatr to anyone.

Thats it...Im off to The better…

Thats it...Im off to The better Business Bureau here in Ottawa, with other people i know on CHATR..
Weve hsd ENOUGH..These guys are CROOKS..
This is Kids internet..there is no signal to do anything and i just rebooted and paid..Ive lost so much money not to be able to have a working phone..
Im a laughing stock at work because we have meetings and asked to use our phone to call up, whstever and god forbid theres photos...by the time my phone loads the meeting is over..
This is FRAUD!!!
Also you Fast.com it to check signal and it shows signal strength but after theres nothing so they are hooked in to Fast.com and give fslse readings of signal strength..CROOKS..
So today .. CLASS ACTION SUIT tp CHATR and parent ROGERS..
WE ALSO are accumilating clients from all over Ontario..
Ive complained over and over again and in fact last time i spoke to manager..he laughed and said i know its terrible..unbelievable..
Now it will be in be a class action suit as ive spent 5000 dollars with these money grabbers for 5 years...just RIDICULOUS...LOOK OUT CHATR

Worst customer service in Canada

Chatr advertises everywhere as cheapest cell phone plan in Canada @$15. Went into a store, they told me oh the cheapest we have is $35. I really needed to make calls so I paid this plus activation fees. Called Chatr about this misrepresentation of truth and they said "can't help you, you have to go to the store."
Only now getting into my account online and discover multiple charges that are incorrect. Called Chatr who put me on hold for a long time only to come back and tell me "every Chatr store is independent, we cannot help you."
Same answer always from customer service, no matter what issue. And when you give feedback, they just get reactive, rude, and repeat the same sentence over and over. Literally telling me "not our responsibility."
They want these stores to sell their plans but take zero responsibility to help the customer. Worst service of any cell carrier to date.

This app and customer service are so bad !

Absolutely nothing is working. The password, the update profile. They keep on telling me my information is incorrect. I am not stupid. I know my name and DOB. This is the worst app ever.

Last month went over data

Last month went over data. Had slowed internet speeds but still able to do basic things like email banking. For some reason this month it's to slow to use email or do banking. It's basically unusable. I really don't like this company. You get a plan with them. Then they spam you with other offers from Rodgers.

if i can give minus 500 hundred stars to chatr I would. this is the worst company i have ever made a deal with in my entire life, and not just on phone companies, in any company of any sort. I am still am not able to get them off my back and make them stop charging me for more money.

I went to a roger's store in montreal, there, one of the guys recommended opening an account with chatr, they offered 5GB and a bonus of 35GB for the first 24 months, for 45 dollars. We did it, and after two days the basic 5GB of the plan were all used (i guess my phone did some extra syncing)
And i called several times to understand why isn’t the 35GB bonus is not kicking in so I can use them, at that time my phone had literally no internet at all, or extremely slow that barely works.
Each time i called, they told me they had a long line of new customers and that the bonus might take up to 72 hours to kick in. I waited, with no internet meanwhile. After 4-5 days, I called again, the woman told me someone have deleted my bonus by mistake, and that there is no one available that can help me, and they will call in another 48 hours, and after i insisted for about an hour, they gave me another 2 GB for the weekend.
Needless to say they never called, and I got an email that says “YOUR NEW PLAN IS CONFIRMED - 5GB WITH A BONUS OF 10 GB” - meaning they have changed my plan, without talking to me. Of course that bonus never kicked in either.
And the cherry on top - at that time i decided i’m going to not pre-pay anymore to chatr and just go to another company and do the whole thing all over again. BUT THEN i got a text message, from a number you can’t call back saying - “Sucess! You’ve enrolled in auto-pay using credit card eding (my last for digits of my credit card), your payment of 45$ + tax will be taken on the 4th of each month.
Right now again I have no internet, two different changes in my account has happened without even asking me! I don’t think the second one is even legal! I didn’t commit to pay them every month, I only agreed to a pre-paid plan, with bonuses they never delivered. Its so crazy, they are practically scammers.
Oh and I keep getting shady text messages from snapchat even though I never had snapchat, since I got my new number from chatr.
Just horrific.

I called chatr wireless few days ago to get help with with changing preauthosed payment and add a new credit card. First agent who was a Male hanged up on me after I was put on a ten minute hold. I had requested to speak to manager. As there was password problem. I called back after several attempts got a female agent. I was not happy with her knowledge and service as well. She lso did not help me to solve my problem. Had difficulty understanding her. I wasted an hour and became so frustrated that requested to speak to her manager again. She refused and said manager is busy will call me back. I am still waiting and not had a cal back from chatr wireless manager yet. My case us still unresolved. I am thinking of changing carriers. Very bad customer service

Today's experience with Vinudha was…

Today's experience with Vinudha was exceptional, she had time and was patient, calm, and willing to help. the call started with my parents and they had so much to say about her. I had a few interactions with Vinudha when my parents were having a hard time understanding her instructions due to minimal knowledge of computer operations and right from the start she brought me up to speed and proceeded with how to fix it and boom we got it done. Vinudha I hope I got your name spelled right, you've got a commendable, calm, and adherent Attitude. Thank you for your help today. Peace ✌

DON’T TRUST THEM!!

DON’T TRUST CHATER MOBILE!!!
They are rude and stilling your money. That’s it.
I called them today to solve my issue with CHATER’s customer satisfaction. Someone answered my phone and said she is a part of customer satisfaction. She offered me a couple different plans from different companies!!! When I said I DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE MY COMPANY OR MY PLAN, she offered me only 2 extra data for only one month! When I checked my online account I saw I am eligible to have 5 extra data from now on! But she limited me for 2 extra data! Can you believe, how they are treating us. SHAME ON THEM!!!!
After that, I insisted to talk with customer satisfaction. Finally she transferred me to Thomas who is working on customer satisfaction. Then he cut the phone on me after I shared with him my issue. CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW DARE THEY ARE!!! I can say only SHAME ON THEM. 🙄😒😞

I had a very bad experience today at store located in Walmart 1070 major MacKenzie . Her name is vicinity. She is not a professional behavior as a customer service too rude. I went to another location of chatr at upper Canada. The gentleman with name "joseph" helped me. I was about to cancel my contract with chatr after my experience at Walmart. Thank god Joseph has a great customer service and me and my family will keep continue with Chatr phone line. Definitely to keep up a good job in any business must have a professional customer service

Disappointment Regarding the Absence of PDF Invoices

I would like to share my experience with Chatr, an experience that left me perplexed and dissatisfied.

Having recently requested an invoice in PDF format for administrative purposes, I was surprised to learn that Chatr does not provide any invoices in this format. This response has created an unexpected difficulty for me, as I need this invoice for an ongoing administrative procedure.

As a loyal customer, I expected Chatr to be able to accommodate this relatively simple request, especially in the digital age where the provision of electronic documents has become the norm.

The reluctance of Chatr to provide PDF invoices has complicated my situation and made the administrative process much longer than necessary. As a consumer, I believe that customer service should be at the heart of concerns, and flexibility in document provision is an important component of this relationship.

I hope that Chatr will take into consideration the needs of its customers and consider improving its billing policies to better adapt to the changing expectations of consumers.
