If I could I will rate Chatr 0

If I could I will rate Chatr 0, I subscribe them yesterday and since then I haven't be able talk or to receive calls, there is no way to contact them, they do not have customer service on the phone or chat, the only way to submit the problem and they will answer in 48 hours. Cheese 48 hours in the meantime I do have communication with no one and I have important calls to make and receive.
People don't subscribe to Chatr avoid mental suffering and depression.

I have been with chatr for pretty close to 20 years now and with the same number lol. Unheard of these days.
I have had nothing but the best all these years...BUT...now all of a sudden you can't talk to anyone, a person, not AI, not prompts, A real human being.
Chatr has been so helpful and kind has really helped me through some horrible times. But that was when you were actually able to TALK to someone.
Chatr...please bring your people back

Any N11 call I made in Alberta was…

Any N11 call I made in Alberta was routed through Ontario. Apparently they did it to bypass regulations and make it appear that I had good coverage … until I tried to call any N11 number. 811 was out of Ottawa, I’m Alberta. 511, 211 also Ontario from my Alberta based sim and phone and person. They wouldn’t fix it.

Because I can't log into my account

Because I can't log into my account. I have a valid number with a valid account . That means i can fully use it, it's fully been paid, data and reception working fine. But I can't log into my account online. I get the verification in my eMail AND on my phone, but the system won't let me lo in. In the rogers store they can't help me. Service hotline will always kick me out. The online ticket system always send me the same useless non-working troubleshooting response even though it's validated with sms and I specifically request not to send me that same message. Why do they do that? I literally have no other choice then using a different provider. And now I even receive verification requests that I didn't trigger, e.g. from square. Meaning they might have also registered this phone number twice. If had had to stick with this company I'd be absolutely scewed

Do not recommend

Very poor customer service. Was trying to change my provider but keep my phone number which required an account number from Chatr. My new provider had said that I should call Chatr for the number if I can't find it. Conveniently, they do not provide the account number on your profile nor do they have a phone number to contact. You'd have to submit a ticket request which would have taken days to get a response which would have expired my prepaid month and I would have had to pay for another month with Chatr to keep my phone number. Thank goodness for Reddit. Scam company.

So my friend lost their phone and I found them to try to find a resolve and speak with an agent. It will only let me speak with their Chatbot and install the app, even though we don’t have a phone with the number on it.the worst

There was a charge on my card from Chatr. Which is weird cause I do pay as you go. It was the exact amount of my monthly plan. But I had no service. When I emailed them about this, they said after 6 days of no information that my card was used for another account. First how’d they my card number if it was for your site. Basically I don’t get my money back or a service. There customer service email is absolutely bullshit. This is a horrible company and they don’t care about their customers. Your information will be should and used if your use Chatr!! THEY GIVE YOUR BANK CARD NUMBER AND INFORMATION! DONT TRUST THE SITE

Great service and I watch 4K videos…

Great service and I watch 4K videos without it stopping never had a dropped call I've even done Wi-Fi calling as well as tethering so I don't know what everyone's complaining about I have had zero issues other than auto pay but I just buy a top up card off the internet and have no issues so I do recommend this company to people

I do not know about the company. But, I would like to comment about the Agent Mehak who helped me and my wife when we visited the store. The previous agents did not inform me about the most economical plan that Chatr mobile has.
I am a senior citizen and looking for the most economical plan since I also travel a lot. Mehak informed me about the yearly $149 plan which saved me a lot of money. I am grateful to Mehak for taking the time to explain to me about the $149 plan.

I am thoroughly disappointed with Chatr’s customer service and prepaid plan policies. The whole point of prepaid is flexibility — some months I can afford more, other months less. Yet Chatr charges a $5 fee just to change my plan. That feels like a cancellation penalty, something usually reserved for locked-in yearly contracts. Where is the freedom that prepaid is supposed to offer?

Yes, the plans look cheap on paper — calling, texting, and data bundled at low rates. But the reality is frustrating. I’m forced to choose between a decent phone/text plan and terrible internet. Hotspotting my computer is nearly impossible with constant interruptions, dropped calls, and delayed responses. The service is unreliable, and customer support is no better.

Agents are clearly undertrained, relying on scripts or translation tools that leave issues unresolved. One week a problem is fixed easily, the next week I’m told it can’t be solved, shuffled to a supervisor, and promised a callback that never comes. It feels like problems are just passed around until customers give up. That’s not support — that’s avoidance.

To make matters worse, prepaid customers are treated as second-class. Why can’t we buy phone insurance? We break our devices too, and should have the right to pay for coverage. Instead, we’re left with bare-bones service and no options.

Chatr is owned by Rogers and uses the same towers, yet the quality is far worse. And honestly, none of the major prepaid providers — Rogers, Telus, Bell, or their sub-brands — seem to care about offering decent plans, phones, or customer service. We, the customers, are not just numbers. We fund these companies with our fees, taxes, and device purchases. We deserve better.

Enough is enough. Chatr, do better. Stop seeing people as stepping stones to profit, and start treating us as the shareholders we truly are — the ones who rely on your services every day.

No connection, no support - money thrown away.

This was a disaster. Bought a sim and a data package at the airport in Montreal. Connection was there, but for 1 minute. Probably an error in activation. It is impossible to reach support. To open a ticket, they send a code, but obviously this is not received when the connection does not work. An email to support at chatrwireless.com is rejected. They can only be reach by snail mail. It is just money thrown away.

this is a shit company, DONT use them. zero help, cant even talk to a person. they gave me a pin that doesnt work and they just kept the 40 bucks. no refund for a pin that doesnt work? how can i get a confirmation message when im trying to set this plan up?? waste of money they are crooks

I was in a panic today when I went into…

I was in a panic today when I went into your store at 1818 Eglinton west . Goku took care of the problem within 5 minutes ! He replaced my SIM card and had me back up and running ! Due to medical issues I need my phone at all times! Goku truly saved the day today ! I’m very thankful . Excellent Customer Service from someone who an expert in the industry ! Thanks again Goku !

Horrible Service

Please save yourself the stress of dealing with a poor connection. I am not even able to talk on the phone in my own house, the conversations would simply hang up. The internet connection is almost inexistent. Very poor customer service, they can barely communicate in English. You can talk to them only in person, at their shops. Chatr does not have a customer service office over the phone.
When I travelled abroad, using the Hotel's Wi-Fi, they charged me $70 because apparently their service was used. Who would pay, when free Wi-Fi is offered?
I hope you decide to pay a few dollars more and reward yourself with a good connection.
