Great On-Line Shopping Experince

I was able to navigate the site easily and found just the product for my needs. The payment process was also easy to use and email confirmations along with invoices were sent almost immediately.

Badly designed paying page

I liked the price, it was by far the best offer.
The process of paying was really badly set out. I had to wait for instructions before I could complete the transaction. It turned out that you needed to press the 'paypal' button before pressing the 'pay' button, or whatever. It was totally confusing and the email help apologized.
The help was good too, while I think about it, but the overall experience was of incompetence.

Not reliable seller.

Not reliable seller.. purchase adobe acrobat pro in 2019 and now the key is no longer valid. Ask for seller responsibilty but she claim she had provided once (which it was happened before) and no longer want settle the issue this time. How can I assure that this a legitimate key not deactivated after certain period of time?

Seller told me to login logoff every 7 days to trick adobe program. Have purchased this one with money and they told me to this. Will report this to adobe. UNBELIEVABLE!! Just get from other source. Don't go here!

other website they have is software site.. BE AWARE!!

Buyer purchased a student teacher edition of Adobe Acrobat which is a non transferable application and described as such. Buyer deactivated original license and tried to transfer the original license to another computer. Although not obliged to and the fact that this item was purchased over a year ago we gave them a free license for their new pc despite the fact that they have provided no proof of student eligibility to use the student version. They have since deactivated the second license and now want us to provide another license. We have bent over backwards to help this customer but if their strategy is to leave negative feedback then we will no longer respond to this customer to assist further. Buyer should make sure when contacting Adobe regarding their licenses to have their relevant student teacher eligibilty documents to hand.

Be careful what type of licence you are buying and what happens when you change computers

I purchased perpetual licence for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 for 2 PCs. The price for 2 PC licence was $600 when retail price for 1 PC was $721. The 'lifetime' gave me the impression that I can use the serial number anytime and it should work.

Anyway, I installed one on my work PC right away and tried to install the second one on my home desktop after 13 months. The serial number didn't work. I contacted Cheapasales support and Wendy replied that the serial numbers were to be used within 30 days of purchase, not 13 months. Although her tone was rude and there was no such instruction at the time of purchase, she immediately gave me a new serial number that actually worked. Wendy explained that these are OEM licences which is why they are so cheap. I didn't realise I was buying a licence that would only work on my current PC and when I buy a new PC (which I have to do every 2 years for work), the licence wouldn't work. Had I known this at the time, I wouldn't have bought this software.

I contacted Adobe directly with all the details to see if they can help me. They replied (and I have it in writing), "As our representative explained, your Adobe application recently ran a self-test to verify if it is genuine. This testing has determined that the application on your computer is not properly licensed, and is not a genuine Adobe product. The application has an invalid serial number and/or the software contains unauthorized modifications that are associated with counterfeit products."

The Cheapasales website states that, "We are committed to supplying legal and legitimate software and offer a full money back guarantee." So I asked Wendy to a full refund since I have in writing from Adobe that the serial number is associated with counterfeit products.

Wendy finally refunded partial amount on the basis that, since I had used the program for 14 months, she deducted $347 ($24.786 per month!) as if I was using the Adobe DC subscription (which I currently pay AU$14.51 per month) and refunded me the remaining $252. I again asked Wendy to refund me the full amount as advertised on her website and mentioned that I did not purchase a subscription based product (which is far better than the desktop version - comes with 100 GB cloud storage) from her so she had no right to charge me that. She did not change her mind.

So make sure the software you are buying here is the best value for you. What happens if you have to completely reset your computer, your computer dies and you get a replacement computer, or you buy a new computer. They now sell Adobe Acrobat 2020 where it says "perpetual retail" so ask if you can install it in a new computer when the time comes.

WOW talk about a long review!!! This customer contacts 14 months after purchase and complains because cannot transfer their software license to another computer. We explained that the license they purchased was a none transferable oem license. We gave them another license free to install on a new computer and customer installed with n problems. Due to ongoing complaints from customer we refunded $252 which effectively provided the user with the opportunity to install on new computer at a total cost to him of $348.00. This programs retail price is over $700.00. We offered support and a refund after 14 months but still not happy despite helping him out so he could install on his new computer. Customer was supplied with valid oem licenses which are not covered by support from Adobe and thus received their normal response for none retail licenses. Our listings are clear and advise if the license being purchased is none transferable or a full retail license. Customer agreed that each license we supplied validated and there was no problems. Oem licenses are sold cheaper because they have certain restrictions and one is that the program is tied to the computer that they are installed on. If customer wanted a retail license which he could constantly transfer over the years then he should have purchased a retail license which we also have on offer. Unfortunately could not make this buyer happy which we always strive to do and thought we had resolved in this case.

Very frustrated at first when I could not get the Adobe software to work. The download instructions are very different to what actually has to be done. Wendy from customer service was very patient and helpful and I was able to get everything working properly with her help.

Recommended for cheap software

Bought the Mac version instead of the Windows version so the licence wouldn't work, yeah oops. Rang them again and no problem, sorted with a new licence within 24 hours.

Bad experience - will not use again

Purchased code for Norton software - which was rejected by Norton install as invalid code. Sent email to Cheapasales asking for valid code or refund, received no reply. Have since gone to reliable retailer. Don't have time deal with dodgy dealers or to resolve issues.

Never received any email in regards to a invalid key and had we received we would have rectified. We guarantee all our keys to be valid. Probably just a typing error that could have been rectified had we known. This is the first we have heard about the problem. Communication would have fixed. OUr phone number is clearly displayed on the site and we respond to every customer enquiry.
