Great service but very expensive…
Great service but very very expensive took a 7 day trail recommended for a mortgage broker and as soon as the free trial over it charges £14.99 not sure if it’s monthly or weekly but either way ridiculous so I just cancelled it straight away not really sure how anyone has the money for these type of things anymore and the company obviously doesn’t remind that your free trial ends so even if people do cancel they’ve already been charged at least once as I said great credit report but very expensive

REMORTGAGE
I needed a credit report to remortgage my property, and was recommended Checkmyfile by my brooker.
It was very easy to sign up, and I got my credit report immediately after answering a few questions.
The report goes all the way back, so nothing gets left out. I was very impressed with the service.
You also get a free 7 day trial, so remember to cancel after that or you will be charged a monthy fee.
I definately recommed this company and will use again in the future.

Note they claim that they reached out but just like all these other companies like I stated with other reviews they never really reach out. It's just a type of virtue signalling. Is it coincidence nobody reaches out to me even though it's obvious they're just canned text bots. It's not real. It's not genuine support. It's an illusion of support
They got back(see below), claiming they would get in touch. They did not via the portal as I cancelled my direct debit. No emails, so this company is lying or incompetent, at least, or just gesturing to cover up . with rhetoric like WERE SORRRY BLA BLA
AVOID THIS COMPANY. Until I get a refund, this review will remain forever

There was no reminder email that the trial was ending and that billing was about to start. That would have been helpful.
The service itself is alright, but there is no proper way to export my own file information. The only suggestion on the website is to take snapshots of every screen. For £14.99 a month, that feels like a bit of a joke. with no export feature to send to mortgage companies.It's like a toy website by comparison.
If I had not checked my bank account I suspect the subscription could have quietly continued for quite some time before I noticed. I do wonder how many people miss it and end up paying a surprisingly unhealthy £14.99 a month for what is, essentially, a website that tells you that you are a “good boy”.
Not exactly great value for money.
