Great service very happy with the purchases. Well packaged. Caroline in particular was a pleasure to deal with.

They don’t update their website - 8 weeks old. Paintings displayed saying “3 left” is probably just a sales ploy to get you shopping there. When I bought one, phoned them up first then put £375 through on their site, only to be called the next day to say web site out of date and painting not available. No money taken but a waste of 24 hours and very poor trading standards

the team went above and beyond to source a painting that I wanted and had previously seen in their shop in Chelmsford. They didn't have it, so they hunted it down, bought it and sold it to me with no extra costs so they didn't even make out of the deal - true investment in future loyalty! thank you!

Back in 2012 we had never visited an art gallery before. We saw the display of Kerry Darlington pieces in the window and wanted to see inside. We were instantly made to feel welcome and bought our first piece of art! Over the years we have been back many times and bought many more bits. We love the professionalism and enthusiasm of all the members of staff, especially Michael Maltby who is amazing, sourcing a painting for us which had been sold out many years before. We have visited other galleries since and have been made to feel intimidated, or that 'people like us' shouldn't be in a place like that, never the case with Chelmer Fine Art - thank you so much for introducing us to, and nurturing our love of art.

Having initially purchased one item, I have since returned for many more with the service offered a cut above the other galleries I have dealt with, and the price was great too, with all items securely packaged and dispatched quickly - my latest items were even framed at no extra cost

I will be back :)

I stumbled across Chelmer Fine Art while looking online for a Doug Hyde picture for Christmas.
The price I paid was the best price online by a considerable amount.
I made my purchase and the service I received was outstanding.
Phone calls or email enquirers are answered very quickly and professionally.
They are so good and competitively priced I have just received my third order from them.
I would not use anybody else!.
Items arrive extremely well packaged and they will get your order to you quickly or even on a specific day if needed.
All round excellent service.

Since my original post I have ordered four more items from Chelmer Fine Art. I would not use anybody else. Always prompt at replying to queries and could not be more helpful.
Items are always very well packaged and always delivered on the day specified.

To start with I wasn't called back but once had calls again their service was above and beyond
They let me know when was being sent, as a present they called just before sending to check okay and where they were sending was good
Often we are too quick to complain and not to praise but in this case they were above and beyond

Very good prices and ranges of art. I have never been disappointed with the service. Highly recommend.

Offered a drew farcy picture for sale, paid on line then they were unable to provide the picture. Massively disappointing. Shows that they don't actually have the pictures they offer on their website.

The lady who helped me was amazing, really helpful and delivered exactly what they promised.

CFA managed to source a piece for me which I had planned to purchase for my partner as a special birthday gift. Even though other sellers had tried all avenues, CFA persisted and managed to locate the item. The piece was competitively priced and although there was a hiccup with delivery addresses I was very pleased with the experience overall.

Excellent.. Contacted me via mobile when delivery was due. Sent to a different address since it was a surprise Xmas gift for my husband. Extremely helpful on phone and were able to track down this picture.

Ordered a couple of days before Christmas but did not expect to receive quickly at this busy time of year. It was delivered on Christmas Eve in very secure packaging. Cannot fault the service received and will definitely be buying from here again!!
