Unhelpful robots

Spoke to the robots on the refuse help line as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Recycling bin half emptied the bin men obviously don't check the bin after it's put on the van and was told it must have been compacted. Unbelievable.

A very poor first impression

The person we went to see was pleasant, helpful and professional but the receptionist, who is the first person you meet to represent Cheshire East Council, was unbelievably miserable and rude. They must know who this lady is. She is clearly in the wrong job.

Cheshire East appalling Duty of care cover up.

Cheshire East, well what I really want to say would not and could not be printed.

Lies, lies, intimation, cover ups, lies, inadequate, slanderous e mails.
Lack of Duty of care.
Look like they are doing good for the vulnerable adults of society but don't care at all.

Shameful bunch .

Alas a few are good at their job but you don't find many.

Todays date but an ongoing disgusting situation for 3 years.
Know your rights and make the staff stick by them.
Video and document Everything for your own needs.

This is an absolute outrage!

This is an absolute outrage! I can't believe I'm being forced to pay taxes on a property I already moved out of before the contract ended. And to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to strip me of my 25% single-person discount just because the property is now empty. It's downright despicable that they don't offer any unoccupied and unfurnished discounts. It's like they're deliberately trying to squeeze every penny out of me and other hardworking tenants. This is nothing but pure robbery and it makes my blood boil!

One of the worst (if not the worst)…

One of the worst (if not the worst) Council in the UK

Absolutely appalling from the service to the state of the counties streets, pavements, villages and towns

What do we pay our rates for as we cannot see anything for it !

Money wasted left right and centre on poor repairs, oh to have a desk job at this council ... cushy number with little movement and lots of benefits paid for by the rate payers

Taxpayers Money wasted by Incompetence

Business Rates department is completely dysfunctional. Today my business was FORCED to pay a business rates debt that wasn’t due by an enforcement officer with “Previous” he acted like a thug, intimidating to staff and threatening, what is the business world coming to! I tried to resolve the issue with Cheshire East many times. Long call times impossible to communicate no reply to email etc… They don’t do debt collecting or try to they just send a summons which is followed up by a debt collection agency with an appalling record. They employ ex convicts as Enforcement Officers who will not look at evidence, and probably don’t have the intelligence to understand it. Complete farce and waste of taxpayers money! Plus a very stressful experience! Just paid £723 to get rid of the idiot from my premises! ( Not Owed ). I ask Cheshire East to respond please????

Absolute shambles highways

Absolute shambles, totally broken and beyond repair. The typical local authority devoid of any civic duty, in total disarray. This relates mainly to the medieval broken highways department, run to the ground by directors, management and the usual staff unable to function. The good people of Crewe deserve better than the abuse that these jerks impose on the local community and visitors alike.
Hard to believe that Parliament doesn’t fire the failures in droves, who else would stand by as the anti social job for life senior managers bring a town to a grinding halt.
Shameful and rotten to the core council

I needed assistance on the possible…

I needed assistance on the possible registration of an animal food additive and was contacted by Claire Platt, Senior Enforcement Officer, Trading Standards and Community Protection.
My inquiry was dealt with promptly, courteously, and professionally. In addition, Claire provided excellent guidance for further information and advice on best practice. Thank you Cheshire East Trading Standards.
(Betch don't hear that too often.)

Corrupt

Corrupt, squanders taxpayers money on stupid projects, inflexible, unempathic. Grants and contracts given to friends of councillors instead of hard-working people. Choose your adjective for Cheshire East. Quite simply the most corrupt organisation since the Conservative Party.

Profiting from pushing high cost energy

Cheshire East County Council are currently peddling very high cost energy through their Fairerpower relationship with OVO. I have tried several scenarios using their website "Fairerpower cuts energy bills for Cheshire East residents" and in all instances the tariffs that they are pushing are far more expensive than all other tariffs that the general public could achieve by going through any of the well known and not so well known price comparison websites. OVO is just one company, yet Cheshire Easy have chosen to support just OVO. In my own case I am with First Utility and if I switched to the OVO tariff that they are peddling my monthly cost would increase by some £144 per calendar month - they are 3p per kWh more expensive on Electricity and 1p per unit on Gas, so they are between 15>30% more expensive than my own tariff and my own tariff isn't necessarily the cheapest one. The way OVO display the results doesn't also make any comparison to the market and even though my own costs would increase, its suggesting that I would make a saving, which I wouldn't - the service would in fact increase my cost by around £1700pa!!

In all instances that I tried the OVO tariffs are very EXPENSIVE and this practice of infact increasing energy bills for Cheshire East residents has to STOP now!
