Excellent customer service. Weather related problem with the garden gourmet. Contacted them, customer service sorted out the issue really quickly and sent me the new part. All done, including the delivery within a week. Absolutely delighted.

Recently bought a clean burn from this excellent company. It’s the best thing we’ve bought for a long time. Throws out so much heat and easily controlled - so easy to light. Great for this difficult time when we all have to entertain outdoors whatever the weather. Customer service is excellent and was delivered before we were expecting it Highly recommend

We are simply writing an honest and accurate review in the hope of helping others.
We loved our stove it looks good and warmed our room brilliantly however We did not buy a throw away item we purchased a stove that we were told was quality and would last at least 20years which is why we paid more, what we are left with after only 7 years is a very expensive ornament.
My advice is don’t assume that because you use a recommended reputable company that use an experienced qualified gas fitter that your fire will be fitted professionally or safely.
Do not have your fire serviced by the company who fit it they are unlikely to point out they have done a bad job.
Do not allow the Chesney gas engineer into your home it is not a gesture of good will he is coming to convince you that their company and suppliers are not responsible and persuade you not to Perdue this further.
It is this behaviour and unprofessionalism that gives company’s a bad name not honest reviews.
I hope this advice helps other people.
All we wanted was honest help and advice and a reasonable resolution.

Chesney great product great service
Chesney make great products and their customer service is excellent. I have had my log burner for 6 years and its as amazing. I recently ordered a new grate and it arrived damaged by the courier I called them and the replacement was with me the next day. Stuart was an absolute star.

Faced with a tricky fireplace project…
Faced with a tricky fireplace project in the lower ground floor of a London townhouse, I turned to Chesneys. They and their installer went above and beyond at every stage, even though the project turned into something which was way more painful than originally anticipated by any of us (challenges with an old house). I would recommend them extremely highly for a great product and superb service.

I have to say that I like the product…
I have to say that I like the product but not the service! I ordered two items for our wood burning stove. Originally told the items would be with us within the week. Then it was out of stock. Then it had arrived in stock and “it would take a couple of days to get sent out, should be with you by the end of the week! So te two items have taken nearly 4 weeks to arrive. What has angered me is the matter of fact attitude of it will arrive when it arrives, no hurry or rush to get the product out quickly or assist. The product is sold as a premium product but with with less than premium service.

I purchased the Chesney Heat and Grill…
I purchased the Chesney Heat and Grill 3 weeks ago and I have to say it is an absolute fantastic piece of kit. I was initially nervous ordering it as its a big financial commitment. However it is superb. The heat it gives off is brilliant. I have used it to cook pizzas. Top marks. Also easy to clean. I strongly recommend. It has transformed the use of my patio. You can sit for hours in the warmth and it is a focal point for socialising.

We ordered a refurbished garden party…
We ordered a refurbished garden party stove. Our ordered was lost causing a delay but after a call to customer services the issue was resolved and the stove sent to us. The refurbed stove looks like new, works a dream giving us a good amount of heat to enable us to sit outdoors on what has been some very cold days. Not been used to cook yet so can’t comment on that, but as a heat source is fab and looks amazing. Would recommend.

Had quite a few problems with the delivery - a part was missing and it took around 7 weeks to get the missing part. Eventually received it, was given a refund for the delivery which was a nice touch, still waiting for my complimentary pizza stone. Delighted with fire though - great product, well worth price.

Communication could be improved - I Found out by my installers that delivery and therefore installation would be later than planned - I had specified months previously that I needed it completed by a specific date to fit in with a bigger project. Gripe is with the guy who
Installed the fireplace (not the gas fitter who is fab) - he didn’t notify the gas fitter that parts were needed to complete the work and then fitted the wrong cowl which meant further delays. However I now have a beautiful working fireplace so just took off one star.
