Easy to use Chess pairing software
ChessManager is a very easy and in most intuitive to use Chess pairing software. But for a deep understanding I'm missing a manual, which describes every single point of the settings and the impact of a setting.

CMan Review
CMan Easy to use.
- Reasonable player Data Entry (by name and ID).
- Entering match results takes (a little) longer than other programs.
- Tie-break options require adding other systems, including the Arranz system.
- If it were possible to show the ID of each player in the list of participants, it would be helpful to the Arbiter and the organizer.
- When players register themselves, there is no classification limit on the possibility of participation. (e.g., under 2200).

No Complicated Set-Up and Personal Support from Developer
I needed a last minute replacement for a different chess pairing software program that I had been using for years that had become buggy and the developer would not reply. Tried ChessManager and immediately found it to be less complicated, clean in design, and intuitive. Ran into a couple questions and the developer got back to me very quickly. It ran seamlessly on both a laptop and tablet for our tournament, allowing both devices to access the database concurrently which was a huge advantage so that one person could enter scores, while another paired and printed wall charts and standings. Only drawback is that the reporting is not currently customizable for showing/hiding columns, but we worked around that by quickly downloading reports as a csv and editing them in Excel before printing. Very affordable for our organization. Highly recommended.

Overall very good
Overall very good, tiebreaker feature was great.
Constructive feedback
- The "Forbidden pairings" feature was greyed out when I first created the tournaments. At some point it became active, but never figured out why.
- An option to sum up scores from clubs would be great. Our tournament tallied the top 5 scores from each club. Would be nice if that was done automatically.

Great start
Great start! ChessManager is a relatively new app, but they listened to the needs of our club which is great. Our club, and I think many clubs, need to create tournaments easily and Chess Manager does that very well. I'm looking forward to see how they grow and add features!

Very good application
Very good application. Only addition I would like is to be able to create a local rating system, f.ex. For my workplace.

Easy and intuitive for initial set-up, may need some help articles
It is easy and intuitive to initially "define" the tournament, pair the players etc.
However, if a mistake is made in entering the results and already paired the next round, it is not so easy to figure out how to delete the round.
I figured it out at the end, and I could proceed, but I would appreciate it if there would be some short help "how to" help articles or videos.
And one additional improvement (or maybe it exists but I still didn't find it), it will be good if the age category of the players is listed in the ranking table.
Hence the 4-stars mark.
Great, thank you for your reply, I have amended the mark and made it a 5-stars one. However, please make the link to the YouTube channel easier to find :)

Great software
This is a great software. Our club was hosting a tournament for the very first time. Unfortunately, the tournament organizer called in sick and had to back out the last minute. I had to be the director. The tournament went smoothly because of Chess Manager's easy user interface. It even calculated the tie breaker, which was amazing since we did not have time for another game -- which meant paying extra fee for the venue. Chess Manager definitely saved our day! I highly recommend it!

Easiness of Use
The software is so easy to use and it has all of the required features for any chess tournament. I would recommend if the software can classify the final ranking table to top players under 10,12,14,16 & 20 which is a required feature in most tournaments.
