Great company
I love what the company do and love the look of the profile.
I don’t feel that I get many parents inquiring and when they send a message and I reply I then do not get a response and have no idea if they are still interested. I have also sent many messages and had very few responses.
I think maybe there should be a written rule at sign-up that you should reply within a time frame even if you are not interested.
It may also be an idea that if someone has found childcare they should inform you and then a message sent out to all so we know.
Setting up a business can take time but funds can only last so long.
Reviews are the best way forward but if you are starting out you will not have the reviews. Is there something that could be added to the profile to boost previous work with children? (Other than in the information about me section) maybe adding reviews from parents outside of the site?

We have been operating our platform for over 17 years and make improvements and updates on a daily basis.
Unfortunately, it would be impossible, and in our view grossly unfair, to impose a draconian rule requiring every member to reply to every message they receive within 24 hours, with any failure to do so resulting in a heavy-handed penalty.
We show on every profile when a member was last seen using our platform, as well as their average message response time. Our proprietary search algorithm uses message response times as one of the many factors in determining where a profile appears in the search results. Members can update their profiles at any time and hide them entirely if they no longer wish to appear to others.
One factor that is likely to be affecting your enquiries is that you have only been a registered childminder for less than two months and do not currently have any children attending your setting. This also means that you do not yet have any reviews from parents.
When launching a new business, it takes a great deal of hard work, time and effort to become established. Parents have a wide choice of childcare providers, and it can be difficult for them to decide between someone who is well established, highly regarded and has many positive parent reviews, and someone who is new to the market and has not yet built up a customer base and reputation.
We are confident that you will get there. Stay focused, be kind, and continue to present yourself in the best possible light so that parents in your local area choose you for their childcare needs.

We appreciate that funding a new business can be challenging. We too started with nothing, and over 17 years later we are still working hard every day to improve our service while operating in an increasingly challenging world.
Your suggestion of allowing providers to add reviews from parents outside of the site is unfortunately not something we would implement. As we would have no reliable way to verify the authenticity of those reviews, the system would be open to abuse and could undermine the trust that parents place in our platform.

Mandy & Kev are absolutely outstanding childminders. Our daughter has been with them since she was just 6 months old, and as she gets ready to start school this September, we honestly couldn't be more grateful for everything they've done for her over the years.
From the very beginning, they made us feel completely at ease with their warm, caring, and professional approach. They have created such a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow in confidence. Every single day our daughter goes, she comes home happy and full of stories about all the fun she's had. She absolutely loves going and is always excited to see Mandy & Kev.

I couldn’t recommend Andrea highly enough She has provided fantastic afterschool care for my child, creating a safe, welcoming, and caring environment where my child has always felt happy and settled.
My child has really enjoyed spending time with her after school, taking part in activities, and coming home happy every time.
