Poor delivery experience

I ordered most of my grandkids Christmas clothes, including Christmas pj's that I give every Christmas eve, in November. I was given a delivery date of December 6th. I haven't received the items still and will have to scramble to replace. I would never had ordered from The Children's Place if I had known they were using canada post for delivery. I've messaged twice and no response. I am very disappointed.

Will never order from them again

Very disappointed in this retailer. Ordered Xmas pajamas in November and still says "processing" online. Customer service does not respond to emails and they appear to be hiding complaint comments on their social media. Obviously I will not be receiving these by Xmas and will be demanding a refund.

Stick to old navy, h&m, Zara etc DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

The worst customer service

The worst customer service. Waiting for my order since Nov! I have written with no response. There customer service agent said it will be shipped by another courrier on Dec 6th... And hung up!! Needless to say still haven't received my order. Canada post strike started on Nov 15th why would.yoi continue to use the same courrier??? Knowing clients would not receive their purchase and become operate and frustrated. So disappointed with the service all.around.

I can understand if they updated their…

I can understand if they updated their website to reflect or even acknowledge the delay in shipping. However, they’re still advertising and telling people to shop - but can’t be bothered to respond to customers who have purchased and haven’t recieved items since November. They’re actually advertising Christmas pajamas KNOWING there’s no way anyone will get them before then - mine still haven’t shipped from November. And on top of all this? They’re muting anyone who comments on their instagram calling them out and warning others! Disgusting company and at this point, it’s theft. Will be reporting.

Placed an order on Dec 6th that was…

Placed an order on Dec 6th that was never confirmed or shipped. I canceled the order and bought what I needed elsewhere. At 2:20 a.m this morning they charged my account for the order overdrafting my account and somehow mysteriously shipped it as well. This order was placed 9 days ago and cancelled 5 days ago. Im not sure who is running this business now but they should know that going around taking money from people with out consent is THEFT. Ive sent 2 emails and will give them 24 hours to respond before contacting the BBB.

Absolutely ridiculous that no updates…

Absolutely ridiculous that no updates are being given on recent orders. Unacceptable that they take your money but dont even have a disclaimer that delivery could be impacted by CP strike. Poor Customer Service through and through. Will never purchase from this store again; would rather pay a bit more at H & M or Gap Kids and actually receive my items. No avenues to even obtain/redirect your items through pick up? Pitiful.

Need Better Solutions for Children’s Place Order Mistakes

Purchased items online during the Black Friday sale. When the order arrived, one of the items ordered was missing.

Contacted Children’s Place customer service to try to get them to simply ship the missing item, but the customer service representative informed me that she could only provide me with a “reward,” which wasn’t even enough to repurchase the missing item now that the sale was over. However, I was willing to use the “reward” and pay the difference. The representative did not tell me at the time that I needed an account in order to use the “reward.” I had checked out as a guest and do not wish to create an account.

When I contacted customer service a second time to inform them of my issue with the “reward,” the representative offered to refund the original payment which was a gift card so I could repurchase the item. When I hadn’t received the gc to my email 2 days later, I had to contact customer service again to be informed that it would take 3-6 weeks for the gift card to process.

Neither of these solutions would’ve been acceptable to me if I was provided with all the information at the time they were offered. The condescending supervisor, Jason, told me, “He would keep this in his head and coach his representatives in the future,” but I now have to wait 3-6 weeks to see IF my order issue gets resolved.

I hope this helps someone else make a more informed decision on how best to resolve an issue with their order.

Note: retail stores cannot help with online orders issues; store associates will simply tell you to contact online customer service.

Shipped via Canada Post during strike. No communication from TCP. Customer help line claims they have no way to contact shipping warehouse. Nothing on website advising of delays. After 4 weeks some sort of communication/plan is owed?

CP taking the cheap route…

Typically a decent group to deal with but with the Canadian postal strike CP has chose. To simply have your packages wait in their warehouse rather than seeking out other shipping options. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Right now… DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
( Lululemon can get your stuff to you in a day!!)

Extremely Poor Customer Service and shipping issues

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience with The Children's Place. I placed my order on November 14th, but due to the Canada Post strike, my order has been sitting in their warehouse for weeks.
Despite sending two emails (on November 20th and 27th) to inquire about my order, I received no response from customer service. It wasn't until I called them on
December 12th that I received any update.
The representative informed me that I need to wait until the Canada Post strike ends for my order to be shipped. Apparently, once a shipping label is created, it cannot be changed. This policy is ridiculous and unacceptable.
The Children's Place should have had an alternative shipping solution in place during the Canada Post strike. Their lack of communication and inability to adapt to shipping disruptions is appalling.
I would not recommend The Children's Place to anyone due to their extremely poor customer service and shipping issues.

Not worth the prices and email ads are excessive.

My review is about their advertising emails. I receive on average 3 emails daily since subscribing... excessive spam in my opinion.
I have unsubscribed and will not do business with them again. When I did last shop in person, I found their clothing quality comparable to Walmart kids clothing... polyester, sized too small for N.A. kids ( known to be taller and bigger than kids from countries that manufacter the clothing). Very overpriced for what they offer.

HORRIBLE customer service

HORRIBLE customer service. They shipped my parcel via Canada Post that has been on strike for 2 weeks with no end in sight. The parcel in still sitting at the warehouse in Mississauga with a status of "shipping label created". The help line in clearly not in North America as the representative could not understand what a "Strike" is. She told me my order will be refunded if not recieved next week. I need that order, I purchased the items when they were in on sale within my Christmas budget. Why would they not ship them out Purolator? IT's still sitting at their warehouse, yet she tells me I'm wrong that Canada Post has picked it up.. No they have NOT!! The Managers are not accepting calls at this time is what I was told when asked to speak to a supervisor. This is absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable customer service.

I SEE ALOT OF BAD REVIEWS ON HERE BUT TBH WHEN I FIRST STARTED BUYING MY KIDS CLOTHES HERE, I PLACED AN ONLINE ORDER AND IT TOOK WEEEKS!! AFTER THAT I DECIDED TO STOP SHIPPING MY ITEMS TO MY HOUSE BUT INSTEAD EITHER DO ORDER PICKUP OR JIST SHOP IN STORE! Yes I hate shopping in store now since everything is easy to ship with one click but since placing my orders for pickup, I always get all my items the same day and the clothes are sooo cute.. definitely will continue to shop here 🙏🏼

Marvin, Jason, and Beverly are HORRIBLE!!!

Awful customer service and the supervisor Jason and manager Marvin were no help at all! They kept stating you should receive your order by Nov. 1st although they weren’t sure if it were lost and even told me to call FedEx to see why there was an exception. I placed this order on October 14th!!!!

$314 Order Missing!

I ordered $314 worth of school uniform clothes and I know shipping typically takes a long time. I waited a week and to my surprise it said the package was delivered by FedEx. The picture on the tracking is not my door. I call The Children’s Place and they say they aren’t responsible for their shipping company and the order is closed
on their end and I have to file a claim with FedEx! They take no responsibility and will not reship my items! So now I am out $314 and have no clothes for my son to wear to school as it gets colder out until I either get a credit from FedEx or get the dispute from my credit card! Asked to speak to a manager several times and no help. They will not help with the issue!

I placed an online order on Monday…

I placed an online order on Monday 10/14/24, my order is Still processing as of today 10/18/24 but the expected arrival date is 10/21/24. Called CS and apparently they are not located anywhere within the US as I was told it takes 3-7 business days for processing orders and today is the 19th so my order should be shipped sometime this weekend but it will still take 7-10 business days for my order to arrive. CS spent most of the call counting the days and estimating dates instead finding out WHY my order is still processing and basically giving me Scripted answers from whatever country she is in where it's currently Saturday 10/19/24. I am extremely skeptical that my order will be shipped and arrive anytime soon. Unable to cancel the order at this point since it's Processing for days on end.
