No tracking and misleading arrival date

My grandson's birthday is coming up and I wanted to order his school uniforms offline and he receive them before his birthday. Online it showed it will be delivered Nov 8, 2023, but when I clicked on tracking it never showed where the package was, but only showed it still processing, So I called Customer Service and waited for over 30 mins. The agent told me the order was placed on Nov 2nd and it will not be delivered until Nov 16th. What a way to disappoint his birthday :( I wanted it cancelled and she advised she could not cancel because it was already in route. So why can't I see what you see? This is so awful. I will get with my bank and cancel and reorder somewhere else. Be aware of this if it takes more than 3 days to show you a tracking, but only a false date to deliver.

Lousy customer service

Lousy customer service
Ordered my grandson's school clothes online and took advantage of the discount when opening a new card. I got the card in the mail a few days later and the first statement a few days after that but did not notice that the account number on the card did not match the one on the statement. I never received a card for the 2nd account and now I have a credit balance on the account I have the card for and a past due balance on the account I never received a card for.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

I made a purchase then realized I made a mistake with the shipping address so I called to see if I could cancel the order and re-purchase shortly after with the correct shipping address. I found out in short order that this company doesn’t have a cancellation policy and provided no help whatsoever. They advised me to call my bank to have my bank, Canada Post or anyone else to help me but that they could not. It was a complete nightmare but what ended up happening was my items shipped to someone who turned away the package and my items were shipped back to The Children’s Place. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this awful company. Besides the terrible customer service all the employees I spoke to were obviously from the other side of the world and had trouble understanding me which infuriated me even more. I won’t ever shop here again.

Rip off

At the time children's Palace had a deal going on where if you open up a new account and placed an order you would get 30% off your first order got the new card placed the new order but never got the 30% off as it said they would give you along with my new card also came a new coupon for 20%off your next order to use on line or in store tried to use that code and it kept saying error wouldn't let me use the coupon I have sent them 3 emails asking what's going on and why did I not get my discounts for opening a new account and useing there card there has been no response back on there end there costumer service sucks they have it to where they don't let you cancel orders and they don't give ajustments to account's for credits I would think twice before buying anything don't count on getting that discount for opening a new account that's just false advertising a scam they don't reply back to messages or emails very unhappy I wish I would of seen all the bad reviews before I opened an account with them my next move will be canceling my card and not ordering any more from them

The worst children’s store

This is probably the worst children’s store ever. I’m surprised they’re still in business honestly. When you order online, it takes forever to actually get your package. They don’t give you tracking updates unless you want to pay an extra $20 for expedited shipping. In store isn’t much better as they’re usually out of everything, the stores are a mess and their boys clothing is so ugly. Don’t waste your time or money, just go to old navy, target or carters. Amazon would actually be better than the children’s place.

Terrible Company

If you have kids Dont Shop here ! This is the Worst Place to buy kids clothes. Bought my Grandsons clothing from this terrible place. Unfortunetly if I knew this Place had Nothing but Liars talking too me I would have told them all to Fu#k themselves. Ordered my stuff June5th. Was told by the Liars I'd receive everything on June 13th. Then the 14th Then 15th. And now it's the 16th and still my Order is Stuck in New Jersey and wont leave today either. Called there Flunkies they call Customer Service was told my Orders Not here buy the 19th. Which it WontI can put in for a Refund. Was put on Hold Now they Lied again and said the 23rd. I told the paracite on the other end you know if I call you again later you'll have a different date farther into July. How the Hell does a Company Lie so bad about the delivery date from Jun13 to the 23rd. And it was suppose to Arrive on the 13th of June. The Childres Place is a Terrible Company I'll never Order from. Next thing How many Years before I get my Refund.

Unbelievably awful customer service

Unbelievably awful customer service. I made a large order for clothes for my kids. Despite them saying the items had been delivered I never received them. I spoke to three different people there on three consecutive days each telling me there was nothing they can do. I asked for a reshipment or refund and they said no so now I’ve lost all this money on items I never got. Shocking. DO NOT shop at Children’s Place!

They take unauthorized money from your account

I ordered my daughter $246.15 worth of clothing online from The Children's Place. That amount was taken out of my bank account at the time of purchase. To my surprise, I was charged two other times. I got charged an additional $231.33 and another $206.87. In total, they took $684.35 of my money. I called them and they claimed this is what they do to ensure shipping??? Their shipping is free, so this does not make a whole lot of sense. They then tried to claim that they didn't take any additional money from me, but they most definitely did.

cancelled order and bad shipping

They cancelled part of my order and I had to order new items and rush to get them here in time for a holiday. TCP guaranteed delivery before the holiday, but didn't get the order here in time.
Had a similar situation a few years ago and gave TCP the benefit of the doubt, but now I realize the company is not good at fulfilling orders.

Their ordering site online glitched…

Their ordering site online glitched before even getting to shipping information and said "Oops! There is an error" and sends me back to the home page. I clicked my cart and nothing in it. I went to orders and nothing in it. Keep in mind I never got to last page to submit and get their confirmation, which I always screenshot. I placed my order and got all the way to end to submit and received confirmation which I screenshot. I get a notification in email and from PayPal that I have two orders! One going to address I gave and other coming to my address. Customer service said once confirmed nothing they can do. Can't cancel. So they say in an email it can be returned. I figure by mail the way it is coming. NOPE! Have to go to one of their stores for refund. Nearest one is over an hour one way from me. DO NOT buy from this store online! I am hoping I get the correct items at least. Though reading reviews, that is doubtful.

They just steal your money

Placed a big order online, my package never arrived, was delivered to the wrong address customer service is no help, they didn’t even give me store credit or refund, They tell you to take with usps. Never buying from them again.

Stay away at least from their online website!!

Stay away from the Children’s place if you’re purchasing online!!!!!! I purchased items for my baby girl which never arrived and I’ve been given the run around to get my items or my money back. Laser ship says the package was delivered which it clearly wasn’t and the children’s place customer service has been no help- it’s just people overseas reading off of scripts as if they are robots. Basically…they are insinuating that I’m lying because the addresses match up- I guess they don’t understand that packages get stolen all the time? Furthermore, they make the customer do all the leg work when it comes to contacting the shipping company instead of them investing themselves on behalf of the customers. Anyways, I’ve been given the runaround for a week now with still no resolution - I’m now waiting on my bank to investigate.Absolutely ridiculous!! I’ll never purchase another thing from them again!!! STAY AWAY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

The in store markdowns are a SCAM

The in store markdowns are a SCAM! THEY have NO MARKDOWNS in the stores, just online. When you get to the cash register to check out, the cashier will take ONE PENNY off the regular prices & then take 75% off. SCAM!!!! Shop online & have it shipped for free.

FRAUD - they’ll charge your CC multiple times and hold it for “5-10 days”

I placed an order online on 12/30/22 using Apple Pay (debit card on my checking account). They placed a hold on my card for $248.17 immediately after I placed the order. Later that day they placed a second hold for $231.07, then a third on 01/01/23 for $231.07, a fourth hold appeared on 01/02/23 for $231.07. In total I cannot access $941.38 of CASH from my checking account. Their “customer service” is adamant they can do this because the items shipped in separate packages and they can hold my money for 5-10 business days. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS MERCHANT. They a fraudsters disguised as a legitimate business.

Wrongfully Accused of stealing!

Went to the cumberland location store #1204, I bought 2 tshirts for my granddaughters, I pay, leave the store the next thing I know cobb county police stops me and said an employee said I put a tshirt in my bag. he searched my bag I showed him my receipt. I was so upset i returned the tshirts I bought. They denied that they said, one of the employees did it and didnt admit it because they realized they were wrongfully accusing me. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! Oh and I will be calling corporate.

Not even a one star, ordered Christmas pajamas for my kids, order says delivered but I never got it…. Called up customer service
And they didn’t do anything even spoke to a manager, they told me to go to the post office or call my bank….
Don’t order from them because if your package goes missing they won’t do anything about it!!!!!!
