Choice Home Warrenty - Stay Away from it - My dishwasher went bad and the technician came and gave an estimate of $ 395 for repairs. The replacement cost of my Dishwasher is $1200 to $1400. The mAke and model is Whirlpool Model WDT750SAKB0. TO MY SURPRISE CHOICE IS OFFERING THE REPLACEMENT OF THE DISHWASHER AND THE MONEY THEY ARE OFFERING IS $272. Less than thee repair cost??

Made the call for service and I had an appointment in a couple of hours.

I get fast response when placing a claim. I do not get a fast response for the company that has acepted the work.

I had to get my own service provider— when he tried to get approval I watched him send in the request to get approval- they said they never got it . I have had choice Home Warranty for over 2 years I think. When I have needed service it was net forthcoming. I waited a month when I needed my refrigerator fixed. The tech got my freezer doors in cockeyed somehow/. Water in my floor from the drawers frosting over and melting. Three appointments for him to come see what was wrong. He never showed up. Very disappointed with my service. Looking for a new one

Choice was quick to respond when claim started. And then when additional damage to furnace continued claim repairs very fast. Other than the cost which I thought was going to be 100% but was about 60% I was satisfied

Platinum tech repaired air conditioner on 8/4/26
, he said fused went out. Today the air conditioner won't turn on again!

Within a few minutes of signing up for your warrantee and as I was looking over details of the agreement I realized a few things I was not happy with and tried calling to cancel, when one operator answered my call he immediately put me on hold when he found out I was calling to cancel, and no one ever came back. I didn't known their was a 12 limit of 3k max and that you had no say in who was coming out to service my needs. Two items I cannot live with.

the young technician was very thorough and professional, replaced the part my AC needed and everything went great. thank you CHOICE HOME.

Person to fix my Oven called me to confirm everything.

File a claim for my AC unit going down. They came out and looked at it, quote to repair was around 2 grand my unit is 15 years old so it finally failed, Contractor recommended a replacement due to age. Choice refused to honor the claim blaming me for faulty maintenance, even thou it was the interior part of the unit was faulty, they said my coils were not clean even thou I had twice yearly maintenance.

This company is the worst and should not be in business. They do not honor their agreements and try to use and will not have a sense of urgency . We are in a huge fight with them over an AC claim and it is scorching hot. They are trying everything to not pay the full claim amount. They keep sending contractors who never stay and one of the housemembers had to be hospitalized because of the heat and heir delaying and refusal to pay what they promised. This has been going on since June 2026. Companies like this should be shut down. Yout hink you have protection, but you don't. What is going on with our consumer rights? Politicians who do nothing and don't support them should be voted out. Thsi is causing so much unhappiness in this country and makes the quaility of life in America poor. Stay away from this company. You have been warned.

Called in a claim only to find out that the entire claim was not honored. I had to pay extra money out of my pocket in order for the claim to be satisfied by the technician that was doing the work. That is not mentioned in your advertisement.
I think that that is very deceptive and not stating that the warranty only covers part of the job, not the entire.

I would give them a zero star if that was an option. It's a complete scam, they take forever to answer a phone call and when I decided to cancel the policy, the agent would convince you to continue and charge a monthly fee at the beginning of the billing cycle. When I called back to ask them if I can use the policy since they already charged for the entire month, the agent pretended he couldn't hear and just hang up the call. Absolutely the worst and complete scam. Do not use Choice home warranty.

My heat pump went out 1/15/25 called choice home warranty called every day for over a month out side never got above 35 that month in February 20 tech came an check my unit said it had a leak need hold new unit On 2/26 another tach check my unit said same thing on 3 /8 another tech came check unit found leak choice would pay to fix or charge unit up. Choice told me to get my heat pump sus fix it would cost me over$3000.00 they would pay only for in side unit but not all of it. Because my unit was 11 years old out dated I said ok paid choice warranty up front heating company was schedule for 3/25 to replace my unit never show up called choice warranty up I was told company was put on probation for six months but not for what they had to find a new company that company would have to come out and check my unit out again for the fourth time this could take up to three more months got fed up with him found somebody to do it myself cancel the policy had to cancel my credit card to get the payment stop coming out automatically they kept calling me about their payments I kept telling you'll never fixed by unit for 4 months why the hell am I keep paying you sorry his company I ever dealt with no help and customer service

Not a good experience. Kitchen faucet that was cost 1200 dollars they approved exchange for kitchen faucet 70 dollars only , they took 100 to estimate job , when it was not necessary to do in person, can be done free by photos ore video , agree to 500 dollar to fix problem. 350 to the plumber company and 70 dollars for faucet replacement..
