Very disappointed with the customer…
Very disappointed with the customer service
I ordered some products from Chris and Sons which unfortunately arrived damaged. I completely understand that damage during delivery can happen and is sometimes out of the company’s control.
However, the way the replacement was handled was extremely disappointing. I explained that I needed the product urgently and was told that if I provided the required information by 3pm, it would be sent on next-day delivery. I did this and was assured that the replacement would be sent out then next day, I was then told that I would receive the product by Monday, Tuesday at the latest.
By Wednesday, the product still hadn’t arrived, so I chased it up. I had already had to reschedule my client twice because I was waiting for the product, only to then be told there had been an error and it hadn’t actually been sent out.
This has cost my business money and caused unnecessary disruption. While I did receive an apology by email, I felt there was very little care or urgency shown, especially as I have been a loyal customer.
I have asked to speak to a manager or have the complaints team contact me, but I am still waiting to hear back.
Unfortunately, after this experience, I no longer feel like a valued customer and will now be taking my business elsewhere. Very disappointing.
