Would not recommend this company unless you want to be called a a liar and loose a lot of money.

Wouldn't trust this company, they may take you for a ride. Bought a bike of them after saving for years. The bike was leaking oil the whole time whilst being told theres no oil leak. Managed to get a refund less £600 for delivery for the privilege. Left bikeless and heart broken, not a nice experience.

I wish I wasn’t doing this as not in my nature to do so. However, I am driven to write this due to being treated in an unacceptable and ignorant way.
I contacted Chris on the Friday,( having tried a few times unsuccessfully on Thursday) to see if he was interested in buying back a Street Twin 900 I bought from him in March this year. I was met with friendly chat and “ is that Stuart chasing us up “ and picked up from where we left off in March. Chris said he would be very happy to buy it back and agreed on a price as both a cash buy back or a bit more as a trade in. We chatted about bikes he might have that would be of interest. We discussed a couple of bikes that sounded suitable. I said I would phone him on the Monday to discuss the two bikes and I asked for Chris to send details of the two bikes…I got to photos showing very little and no info. I phoned on Monday…no answer. I phoned a few times on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and so on for a week. I sent messages and emails and even joked about wondering if he had blocked me. After trying all week, I decided the ignorance was not acceptable and tried no more.
When I bought the Street Twin, I had a bit of trouble getting a hold of Chris, but not this bad.
In my last email to Chris, I simply asked him to let me know if he was still interested, so I knew where I stood…no reply.
Unfortunately this is not an isolated complaint. Check out the other reviews saying exactly the same.
As a side…when I went on my first ride on the Street, I thought the handling was very strange. When I got home I checked the tyre pressures. Back was 10psi and front was 17. Not great for a “meticulously” prepared PDI and service….some might say dangerous.

I took a gamble and bought a bike from Chris Hall Motorcycles, Doncaster, without seeing it in the flesh or riding it! I wanted a one owner, fastidiously maintained, Triumph Street Triple 765 S - I looked the length and breadth of Britain and only one bike matched my criteria. I checked the dealers website, bike video, bike photos, bike M.O.T.'s on line and dealer reviews, bought the bike, was picked up at Doncaster rail station on the day of collection, rode it home 260 miles (on the understanding that any issues under the 3 month warranty would be dealt with locally for my convenience) and have not stopped smiling since! First class experience. First class, pre-loved bike. Thanks Ian.

Spotted a bike on Monday in showroom and ridden away on it today.

Absolutely fantastic service from Ian and could not have asked for such a personal and bespoke service.

It has been an absolute pleasure trading my bike in for a new one.

My BMW GS was delivered and all seemed ok. A few days after delivery the battery went flat. I recharged the battery for 48 hrs on an Optimate but it was no good. In addition the exhaust butterfly was seized fully open. I contacted Ian who sold me the bike and he agreed an ex gratia payment to cover my costs which I was satisfied with. This is good service. I have a friend who purchased a GS for £12k from a BMW agent with the bike having to be jump started 3 times prior to delivery when battery was condemned the agent refused to give anything towards the battery replacement. I am very happy with the bike I purchased and would gladly purchase another bike from them.

Emailed on watts app regards bike for sale replied saying would get in touch no reply forth coming rang and spoke to owner said will get back to me in twenty minutes never happened.emailed again no reply very poor customer service would not waste my time with this company.

Bought a Z900 from Chris Halls told excellent through out done 5 miles up the road stopped running no tick over petrol pouring out of carbs only2 cylinders working told it been thnnough work shop and running ok all not true just put through a main kawasaki dealer carbs all blocked floats sticking 2 jets all cloged up and needing a new coil bought this bike without seeing took there word all good feel like I've been ripped a little trouble when you live 140 moles away also watched the video of bike running now I know why it got turned of straight away saying no fuel I'm glad I videoed it now

Can't remember having had customer service like this ever before, to be honest. Dealing with Ian from CHM has been an excellent experience from start to finish. Would highly, highly recommend.

What an excellent company to deal with. Chris is very informative of the bikes he has in. I've been involved in bikes for around 60 years and have never come across such an amiable bloke. No pressure buying and honest,.he had the tea on as promised .a smooth transaction from first enquiry to delivery. I will recommend him to all of my mates.

Just taken delivery of a very low mileage Kawasaki Versys from Chris Hall Motorcycles. From walking through to the showroom you are greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism. Chris & Ian have a wealth of knowledge and are only too happy to help with your potential purchase. Chris & Ian do not employ heavy tactics, they are friendly and approachable and there's always a brew on the go! Coming from a customer service background I can only say these guys take it to another level - they will help and guide you each step of the way all the way to a scheduled delivery if necessary. I was scheduled for a 9am drop off, Chris was there bang on time (not bad for a 250+ mile round trip on a Friday)! Once the bike was dropped off Chris went through all the paperwork, and the functions on the bike. Reassuring me that any issues moving forward then I should not hesitate to contact them. Chrishallsmotorcycles Doncaster, a little back street bike shop, there’s a fair number of different brands for sale from some real classics to the modern day bikes. I’d say fairly priced, bike I got was viewed and a time to test and collect agreed due to Covid. I gave the bike a good look at on the viewing and via online apps, websites for MOT results, been nicked or damaged, both before viewing and few more before test and collect, nice set of guys run the show, give you useful info on the bike. Shop is worth a nosey round especially if you’re into some classics.
