Terrible customer service and communication skills. Easily lost a customer.

I ordered a new helmet and when you order there is a statement you must agree to. The statement tells you that Helmets being shipped to the UK will not be subject to import VAT. I then got an email from Fedex to tell me helmet was on its way but i had to pay the import VAT of over £43 to get my item. I contacted Chromeburner who seemed receptive but now the email chain has went dead.

I'll be happy to upgrade to 5 stars if they can help with the import VAT as i feel its been a misleading journey. Delivery was quick and items were as advertised, so again ill be happy to revise my review if they can help.

Chromeburner have supplied me with two scorpion Exo helmet over the last couple of years never had a problem from ordering and delivery great customer service and great prices.. I'm from the UK and @chromeburner from Holland 🇳🇱 and always get a delivery within a few days..🙏🏼😁

Ordered a nolan crash helmet for £210 and have just received an email from FedEx demanding £50 duties for the helmet . I see from other reviews this is common practice by the company. The uk government does not charge vat on motorcycle crash helmets and at no point during checkout did I tick a box to acknowledge this . Chromeburner have now paid the vat for me very efficiently on their part and it's now sorted so I've amended to 5 stars

Trustful service. Very good prices. Everything was perfect as described on the webshop. The shipment was also really fast by FedEx. I recommend them.

As always chromeBurner proved exceptional. Best product , best price and best shipping. I received my driving suit in just 4 days via international fedx shipping. Product is very nice except that pants do not have a neoprene hem...Wish all other online sellers would be so professional.....👌👌👌

Don't Buy From This Store Is Bluff IS FAKE RECREATION. I order a spoiler for nexx helmet coler indrium silver till my helmet , when my order arrived was broken and I try to contact customer service but thay has be gone one week and thay not answering me. I sent mail to tre different mail to your company my ordernummer is 60089173, I sent you new mail from other mail adress cheak order nummer you see my order which mail I have.

Thoroughly professional, quick delivery, courteous communication.

Bought a helmet from them quick delivery & excellent price.
Managed to lose a screw for the visor & they managed to get me a replacement inside a week of contacting them.

I was sceptical with making a fairly substantial motorcycle helmet purchase outside of the UK.
Fears were totally unfounded, communication fantastic and delivery from the Netherlands was completed by FedEx inside 48 hours of dispatching!
Highly recommended and one happy customer who’ll be returning to ChromeBurner Motogear very soon.

Check if you will need to pay import duties. It is not made clear at any point during the purchase.
Not happy, would not use again for this reason.

I’m in Canada and My order arrived super quick, I was really impressed! Everything was as expected. I didn’t like one of my items, but that’s my fault for not trying it out! Overall, great experience, I’ll definitely purchase again with them.

Here in the UK, the purchase of Helmets are VAT FREE, This includes any Comms system thats integral to it and purchased with the Helmet. I purchased a Schuberth C5 Helmet and a Schuberth SC2 Comms system. I contacted ChromeBurner and advised about the Zero VAT Status...... They were adamant that the Comms (only) would be charged VAT.. CB also ignored and wouldnt accept my advise or the email that included the Gov.UK link that adresses the VAT Rules here in the UK... Fedex have now contacted me, with a handling charge, and VAT invoice for £50... Total Incompetence by ChromeBurner and a very rude attitude by its staff!!!! After spending £650 with CB you would expect a little bit of respect.....
