I had a very disappointing experience with Churchill Security Service. They have not honored the contract we agreed upon, which has left me feeling frustrated and let down. It seems that their priorities lie solely with making money rather than providing quality service or caring about their customers. Their reliability is questionable, and I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to stay away. There are better options out there that value customer satisfaction!

Our organisation booked Churchill Group (Glos) to provide security services for an event on a Bank Holiday. We were quoted one price, accepted the quote in writing re-stating the sum quoted, received an Order Form on which the Charges quoted the same price. When the invoice was received close to the event date the price had doubled (nearly £1000 extra...); on querying the amount we were advised that Bank Holiday rates were charged double time and we were referred to T&C's clause 6.6.
Having booked services on a Bank Holiday it's not unreasonable to have expected the amount shown on the Quote and Order Form to already reflect the Bank Holiday rate. After complaining we were told it was an error on their part for not having checked at the time of booking that the event date was on a Bank Holiday. When asking for a discount to reflect their error we were advised that we would have to pay the increased amount, and that no discount was available. We cancelled the booking and were lucky enough, with little notice, to find another firm that could provide security services for a similar price to that originally quoted by Churchill.
As a result of our experience, we would not recommend this firm in any way. Their admin levels are poor and their customer service is even worse.
