CIMB is the worse

CIMB is the worse. They essentially locked me out of my money and has done nothing to assist me with reactivating my account or transferring my money back to me for months! Terrible organization/company run by terrible bunch of criminals.

Funny bank and funny customer service

Funny bank and funny customer service
When they want your money, their loan and credit card call will spam you like how flies flying around the food non stop. Multiple times a days, accumulated 50 times plus per week.

But when you need their help, one simple email takes two working days to reply. Then after you reply, takes three more working days to wait. What is worse? Their reply look like bot generated, always in same template and without any useful info. They will give an id which looks like they are working on it but they are not. A simple inquiry or checking takes forever to know the result.

So why don't I just call them? Of course I did, but still need to wait, and document required to be pass to them through email, then yes we are in that dead loop again.

Utterly the most ridiculous useless…

Utterly the most ridiculous useless apps out there. I would not recommend this app let alone to an older people, even i have problems with this app! Everything is utterly ridiculous and the mantainance is so bad!
What's more impressive is they send the tac number through the app!! So incredibly brilliant!!! Instead of your mobile number!!! Magnificent!!! How can i get the tac number if i can't log in to my account???

Bad customer service

Bad customer service. Have been having CIMB account about 45 years already as my salary goes in there. Recently since more than a month ago I tried a transfer into my Wise accounts but to no avail. I had always done that in the past n my last transactions was in November 2024. This was an urgent matter n since I couldn't get through in so many attempts, I called the call centre 4 times and all they did was give me a report number and said investigation was ongoing. I even went to 2 CIMB branches where I live and they couldn't help me n told me to call the help centre.
One MS Hwee Lee from the call centre said that she would get back to me but she did not till today. They only give you lip service to soothe your nerves but no action is taken. I will never recommend CIMB to my friends.
CIMB asked if I wanted any investments and why would I when other banks give such good service. Will keep my former FD's there but no thank you, no new investments.
Very very bad.

Extremely disappointed with CIMB

Extremely disappointed with CIMB. My account with RM24,000 was frozen, and I received no follow-up—no calls, no emails, nothing. Now I find out the unclaimed cheque has expired. Their phone line is always busy, and no one ever picks up. On top of that, the customer service at the counter is awful, and I had to wait for a long time with no proper assistance. CIMB’s service feels like a scam!

Worst Banking experience, Lousy App

so confusing, cimb system seems slow and confusing, logged in to cimbclicks and it was so laggy and many services are not functioning well. and too many process to just to talk to customer service.

Very bad service

Very bad service. I was trying to dispute transactions due to scammed but unable to do so with cimb. So far most of my friends using different other banks all able to get their refunds.

DO NOT USE CIMB FOR FOREIGN TRANSFERS!!!!!

10 days ago I made a Speedsend foreign transfer. 4 days after, my family's mortgage payment was due and I had to borrow money from my bank in Spain to pay it, I just asked for the money refunded to my account.

I have communicated via every single channel they have.

I am still waiting for an answer 😡 ..still 20% of my salary is "pending" on their website...

(well other than the email saying "within 14 days someone will contact you")
.....
So, I am logging a formal complaint with BNM via telelink.
....

DO NOT USE CIMB FOR FOREIGN TRANSFERS!!!!!
