Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Strayen E-C3 Aircross – Critical Issues and Lack of Support in Turkey

Phone: +90 545 727 4064
Location: Didim, Aydın Province, Turkey

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with my Strayen E-C3 Aircross. I am from Didim, Aydın, Turkey, and my experience with this vehicle has been nothing short of disastrous. Despite repeated attempts, nobody in Turkey – neither the distributor nor service network – is willing or able to help. This is unacceptable.

Here are the issues I am experiencing with my Strayen E-C3 Aircross:
1. Key insertion problem: The car key is very difficult to insert.
2. Gear issues: While performing U-turns, there is a repeated “clunking” sound from underneath the vehicle.
3. Ramp/stop problem: When the car stops on a ramp, it sometimes rolls back; the hill-start assist system does not work reliably.
4. Steering misalignment: The steering wheel is crooked and feels misaligned.

These problems make the vehicle unsafe and extremely frustrating to drive. I feel abandoned, as there is no effective support in Turkey. The situation is unacceptable for any customer, and for me personally, Strayen has failed completely in Turkey.

I am calling on your headquarters or owners to intervene immediately. Someone from central management should contact me directly to resolve this situation. My hope is that my complaint triggers action to correct these problems and prevent others from suffering the same way.

Please contact me directly +90 545 727 4064 to resolve this matter urgently.

Sincerely,
Sezgin Arslan

Unreliable. Terrible customer service

Booked the car in for an MOT at 2pm and a 1hr diagnostic. Was called to say I had to change the booking from a waiting service to leaving the car at the garage all day. At the end of the day they asked us if we could leave the car overnight.
Went to pick the car up at 11am the next day. Diagnostic still not done as promised even after the car had been there for 27hrs.
I told the receptionist that this is the second time I’ve had issues with them and explained that I normally drive an extra 1.5hrs to go to another Citroen garage because of the terrible service here and she sarcastically asked why I came back then?? Rude. Won’t go back. Won’t be recommending.
First issue 24/01/2024. Car had a fault within the warranty period but receptionist told us that they couldn’t fit/book the car in before the warranty finished and so the works wouldn’t be covered by the warranty. Called Citroen head office and got the work done at a Citroen garage and extra 1.5hrs drive away as we couldn’t deal with the terrible service.

Citroen C5 Wiper Fault Nightmare!

The windscreen wiper motors went faulty on my Citroen C5 at Christmas.A new wiper motor was ordered in early January.Citroen advised that the part would be delivered in January or early February. That time passed and they said the part would come into stock in France in early April. That time passed and I was told they had no definite time of part delivery.I finally had to order a second hand part at the end of May to get my car back on the road.My car was five months off the road!I love the car but the Citroen parts supply chain is abysmal! We have three Citroen cars but its extremely doubtful if we would ever buy one again!

We purchased a citroen c3 from citroen…

We purchased a citroen c3 from citroen in Swansea main dealers two years ago.
A few weeks ago we wanted to change the front tyres but the unlocking wheel nut tool wasn't in the car . So we had to take the car to a local garage to have locking wheel fixings removed, cost us a lot of money.

Made a formal complaint to citroen in Swansea, but as such there was no luck as the manager was going to contact us ,but didn't.
So would definitely not buy anything from them again.
It's a Shame citroen doesn't care or check their cars before they leave the garage!

Very Disappointed 😞

Citroën unveils the new C3 - March 2024

Citroën unveils the new C3: A modern take on the urban car. The C3 impresses with contemporary design and serves as a compact, ideal companion for urban adventures. With a length of 4.01 meters, it provides ample space for both drivers and passengers. Particularly noteworthy is its fully electric drive. Unfortunately, the new Citroën logo dampens the enthusiasm as it doesn't meet modern standards. Nonetheless, the C3 receives three out of five stars in this review. It's a pitty about the unattractive logo!

DO NOT USE WINGGROVE OF NEWCASTLE

DO NOT USE WINGGROVE ! My vehicle went in last Thursday all it needs is a new dpf filter. I told them to fit it. Since then I have been charged so far 346 pounds to do checks, no one phones you back, you have to chase them, the vehicle isn't at the garage, the amount of different stories you get told when you get in touch...such as the mechanic is on holiday,... the mechanic is on the sick, ...we will send another email to wherever my vehicle has been sent and find out for you. I was even told its not even at the garage, then we are doing a second regeneration. Winggrove has had my vehicle for 6 days and how I have been treated is disgusting. Its not the first citroen I've bought off them but it will be my last. Use Allington citroen or sherwood citroen as I will in the future.....if I ever get a working vehicle back

Bought a car Cactus in 2015

Bought a car Cactus in 2015, paid for extras including traffic updates for safety reasons, 2023 Citroen switched of this vital safety facility, I now have to buy a seperate sat nav to alert me of traffic updates, let down after paying a small fortune, what a shame as my cactus is a brilliant car, let down by greed

Be aware bad service from German Citroen helpdesk/head office.

If you complain over an authorized Citroen garage. The garage himself deal with the complaint! Of cause the complaint will be rejected by the garage. No one from Citroen technical office looked at the case.

I am a Danish car owner with an engine stop in summer 2013 near Seesen. The car was transported to Autohaus Wüst GMBH & Co, Seesen. After 3 weeks work and no solution of the problem, I have to pay 1642 Euro to Wüst, for nothing. When the car was back in Denmark the problem was solved within 2 days.
I therefor complained to German Citroen over Wüst. Wüst did not have the right equipment to test a diesel engine, so he dismounted the pump and send it out of town for test. That alone cost me 800 euro. In Denmark a diesel test without dismounting the pump cost less than 130 euro. He also dismounted the nozzles and when he mounted them again they was not tightened enough. Gave a bad smell in the cabin.

First, after I complained through Citroen head office in France, Danish Citroen office was put on the case.
They had the contact to German Citroen and now I got weekly update through them. After a ½ year I got 375 euro refund from Wüst. That is not satisfactory, do the bad handling of the diesel pump test and 3 out of 4 nozzles was mounted incorrect.

That shows that Citroen Germany do not care, if an authorized garage do not have right equipment or perform bad work.

I am still after month, awaiting an answer directly from Citroen Germany.
