They never send order confirmations when you buy something online. What company would do this?
You go into the local shop to pickup your order and they ask you for documentation that they haven't sent you!
Only evidence is your bank statement.
Really crap company.

Visited their Staines branch today looking for some help and advice on a plumbing issue. I was the only customer in the store, the guy serving me couldn’t have been less interested and suggested I go to Screwfix who were next door. What a contrast, they couldn’t have been more helpful.

Ordered an AC unit on Monday, showed 83 in stock, confirmed by email, phoned the Salisbury store to confirm in-store collection, they confirmed that the delivery\collection would be the 03/07/26, also confirmed that my consignment number was 15. Today I received an email that 'Due to higher demand than expected, we regret to inform you that your requested item(s) are unavailable'. Have searched the AC model number, it is a new product. As usual they we're quick to take my money, still waiting for customer services to answer the phone so they can refund my money in '5 - 7 days', disgusting service from this awful company.

Cancelled my AC Order.

I ordered a portable AC unit for close to £400, and it showed they had them in stock. I opted to collect from a store, and called the store on the day. They called the supplier and came back to me stating that the supplier confirmed the units had been discontinued and not sold for well over a year.

City Plumbing took the £400 quick enough, but did not even email me to let me know the product was not going to be available. Are they taking orders for stock they are never going to fulfil, in order to take the cash for a few days?

Not happy with the experience and will not use them again in the future. Very poor company.

I’m a private person referred to City Plumbing by my plumber to choose screen, tray and shower (Hansgrohe & Mira). I’d assumed going online would be cheaper but how wrong I was! Lee Wright at the Horsham branch patiently tried to elicit what I needed, water pressure etc, sourced everything I wanted and the prices were much better than the known online retailers like Victoria Plumbing. Lee’s help and advice were invaluable- something you would never get online. I forwarded the highly specced order to my plumber and job’s completed to a high spec today. I am so pleased. With a massive thank you to Lee and my amazing plumber in Horsham JST plumbing. Thank you City Plumbing and your expert staff.

Recently had our Bathroom redesigned by Alan at Morton Bathrooms who recommended City Plumbing as the best place to go for all or the Gear we needed to complete the Job , having already priced everything at a couple of local (big name) suppliers we were very lucky to call in an meet Lee McIntosh at the Sandon industrial estate branch of City Plumbing my wife and I were both very impressed with her product knowledge and lack of high pressure sales tactics which unfortunately seems quite common in this industry, Add all that to the final price Lee Came up with just made our day.

The test of good service comes to light when things go wrong, we had a slight issue with a basin tap spoke to Lee on the phone and I have to say nothing was too much trouble for her to put this right she arranged a replacement straight away and had it in stock exactly when she said it would be there only this I had to do was return the faulty Tap once the plumber had fitted the new on.

In short if you have any Bathroom requerments don’t look any further Than City Plumbing and ask for Lee she is truly a credit to the company and we would certainly never go elsewhere

this is a rubbish company. although you placed the order & being charged, they can tell all stock is gone on the delivery date & no delivery can be made without any notice unless you ring. they have my mobile my email but it's so funny they told you they cant reach you. dont expect your order will be delivered even you were charged. rubbish company, rubbish supplier

Today I received a letter from a debt collection agency. Telling me that I have to pay them £294.40 for a debt at City Plumbing UK. Having had no letter or phone calls from their accounts department about an outstanding payment of £44.40
I think it's very poor customer service by the accounts department, and that I am now being forced to pay £250 for a solicitor's letter. I don't use that account often, and I won't use it again!

Canceled my AC unit with no email, but was fast to take payment. Do not use this site as they are very unreliable !

The delivery was quick; however, the item arrived damaged. I contacted customer service 9 days ago and have not received a response, apart from an automated email stating that they are busy.

I am willing to wait a little longer, but if I do not hear back soon, I will have to initiate a chargeback through my card provider in order to resolve the issue.

Ordering online for click and collect was very easy. So many other suppliers of what I was after wanted to charge around 3-figures for delivery, however click & collect was free and I could even have had it delivered for free. As well, in-branch staff (Sittingbourne) were very friendly and were eagre to replace once of my items based on concerns over its long-term performance even though I would have been happy to keep it for a small partial refund. They arranged collection from my home of the scratched unit and delivery at the same time on the day of my choice. I cannot recommend these guys, and in particular this branch, enough!

I was helped this morning by two brilliant guys at City Plumbing, Shrewsbury. They couldn't have been more helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. Great service!

Brought water softener great value for money and great delivery service

Straight forward from ordering to delivery. No problems returning items if not needed.

We recently had two bathrooms installed using this company and we have not been disappointed. Their customer service is excellent from Tina Bennet who helped us design our bathrooms to the delivery driver who arrived on time and delivered the goods carefully. The team at the bridlington branch are excellent in providing advice , being competitive on price and they listen and deliver a excellent service to the customer. I would highly recommend the branch in Bridlington , pay them a visit you won't be disappointed.

I left a very negative review originally and this is me now editing the review. The initial service i received wasn’t the best but since i escalated the issue further i was dealt with in a good way but things need to improve going forward as certain things I’ve experienced could have been avoided I’ve had a very stressful last week or so i am glad it is over now.

Processed order, took payment, gave an expected order delivery date. That came and went. Called for an update told they would be unable to fulfil the order "due to glitch in their system" Then told it could be 3-5 day process to get the refund. Poor customer service and will not use in the future

I would give zero stars if possible. They processed my order, took payment and then didn’t fulfil the order. They then didn’t tell me that they had cancelled the order their end. Terrible customer service

DO NOT USE. They do not update the stock on the website, allowing you to place orders, take your money and then let you know on the day of delivery that the item is unavailable. Then they expect you to wait 5-7 working days for a refund.
