Clarke & Jay recently carried out a survey on a property we were purchasing in Worcester. Contact in office was very helpful. A appointment soon arranged to our benefit. Survey carried out by a local person who knew about the area our property was in. Survey carried out,a phone conversation on results carried out and a report soon followed by email. Very pleased with the service received

Preliminary material was good. The report was informative and very well presented. Indeed, it could be used as a "how to" guide for surveyors. The combination of the report, the call same day after the survey and the call after the report was received and read, made us conclude that it was a job well done and excellently explained.

From the moment I spoke to Clarke&Jay over the phone I got a good feeling about this company and I wasn't wrong, the reception team were on it straight away asking questions and making the right recommendations regarding booking the right survey in relation to the property we were purchasing. The survey itself was done by Cameron Clarke and the attention to detail was excellent and you could tell how much research had been done prior to carrying out the survey on the day and again more input after it had been completed. Chris Pennell was the Surveyor that conducted our survey for a property we are in the process of buying. I received a call back from Chris the same day where he took me through any issues he found and answered any questions I had, as a first time buyer this was incredibly reassuring.

We then received the full report back less than 48 hours after my call with Chris, the report being very thorough and well explained.

Mr Owen conducted a comprehensive and thorough survey of the property, it was most helpful in highlighting several areas , not obvious to ourselves, that needed remedial work to be carried out by professional tradesmen.

The report was an accurate and informative analysis of the problems with spray foam insulation. As a result of the tests made and information supplied I am arranging for the re-pointing and replacement brickwork to be replaced and will continue to monitor humidity levels. Should circumstances change I will not hesitate to contact you again.

Highly impressed with Clarke & Jay. Our Surveyor, Chris, called afterwards to chat about the headlines and key points, and followed up with a thorough report. He was also available for calls to ask questions about anything we didn't understand. It felt like a very personal service. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful. We needed a comprehensive survey for a listed property and also added in drones to check the roof and chimneys. Survey was wonderfully clear and signposted. Key issues flagged. That's the mechanics and gives you a report you can read. We then had a long call with the surveyor to walk through the report, bringing it to life, and for us to clarify and question what we were reading so we could take a view on the property and the risks.

Received a 60 page Level 2 Survey & Valuation from Dominic Jay of Clarke & Jay Chartered Surveyors.
Report produced the following day of extremely thorough inspection of the property.
Dominic broke his report down into categories which we felt was done very well and easy to understand.
The survey inspection was very thoroughly carried out and confirmed not only what my wife and I saw when we viewed the property but more besides.
We knew the property needed a lot of TLC and more, but after reading this concise and thorough report we realised it required a lot more.
We also thought the asking price was far too high and this is confirmed by the amount of work this property is in dire need of and the estimated amount cost required.
Having this survey has saved us making a big financial commitment and decided not to proceed with the purchase. Thank you Clarke & Jay.

Not cheap, but excellent communication and a report the thickness of the Manhattan telephone directory. Jon has been wonderful! They saved me a fortune in possible repairs and legal issues. I can't recommend them highly enough!
