We are a non-profit that has been using ClassMarker for our annual training assessments since 2020, and it has consistently been a reliable, user-friendly solution. The platform is very intuitive- easy to create, update, and manage our tests.

One of the features I value most is the ability to randomize questions by category within different sections of the tests. This helps ensure that everyone receives a balanced assessment with a required number of questions from each topic area while still providing enough variation to maintain test integrity.

The pricing has always felt very reasonable, especially considering the flexibility and functionality the platform offers. Over the years, I've rarely needed to contact customer support, which speaks to the product's stability and ease of use. On the few occasions I have reached out, the support team has been outstanding—quick to respond, friendly, and extremely helpful. (special thank you to Yvonne!)

Overall, ClassMarker has been a dependable and cost-effective testing solution for our organization that has saved us a lot of time over the years. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple yet robust self-grading testing platform.

Thank you for your reply. We were unable to respond to your message directly, so we are posting this as a new message. Rather than continue a back-and-forth, we would like to add a few clarifications for the benefit of anyone reading.

There is a delay in time to market our platform. Hence, we have to depend on your platform

First, on the numbers. We have never requested capacity for 50,000 questions in a single account, and we think this has been misunderstood. We work on an annual cycle, adding roughly 20,000 to 25,000 questions over the course of a year. When we reached around 20,000 in May 2026, we simply asked your team to add a further 5,000 so we could complete that year's cycle, with no intention of adding more beyond it. There will be no new requirement to add questions once the academic cycle is complete, as we will be reusing all of our existing questions and tests. We hope your team can understand the issue we are facing.

The limitations were not transparent at the time of enrolment. We did not see any terms setting out a maximum number of questions or a database storage limit. We would ask that these limits be made clear to all customers from the outset, so that others can make an informed decision.

On migration, our concern is moving users between accounts within our own organisation, not between unrelated parties. As a UK organisation we operate in full compliance with GDPR and are entitled to manage our own records across our own accounts. The practical issue is simply that the platform provides no facility to do so. A clear example is when a child progresses from Year 4 to Year 5 and we would like to move that group to the relevant account. That is a straightforward operational need, and we are not clear why data integrity or privacy would prevent us from managing our own students in this way. If everything could remain within a single account, no migration would be needed at all.

We would also note that we never asked for anything free of charge. On the contrary, we asked your team to invoice us for the additional storage and the increased question allowance.

We would add that the system's limitations also affect day to day administration. For example, we are unable to use our own student registration numbers, which forces us to manage records by surname.

Regarding the suggestion to look at alternative platforms, our concern was the manner in which it was raised. A stay or leave response is not, in our view, a professional way to address genuine questions about a system's limitations.

We do appreciate the support your team has provided. Our feedback is offered constructively. Greater transparency about system limits, and a consistently professional tone, would make a real difference to customers in our position.

I have used Classmarker for 8 years. It has been a wonderful product. I was so grateful to have this resource to use when testing students. It has been a game changer for me and my students. When we can devote more time to students than we do to "processes" everyone wins.

I rarely leave reviews - this is my first - but I felt compelled to share my experience with ClassMarker.

In preparation for a full integration scheduled to go live in a few months, I contacted the ClassMarker team to upgrade my trial to the full experience. Their support far exceeded my expectations. The team was consistently responsive, highly accommodating, and genuinely committed to ensuring our testing needs were met.

More importantly, the platform itself is outstanding. ClassMarker features a well-designed data model, a clean and modern interface and has the expected integration capabilities - in short, an intuitive, highly configurable system that easily adapts the requirements.

All this means ClassMarker has earned 6 stars out of 5 from me. I recommend it without hesitation.

I used ClassMarker to create a judge certification program for a competitive game after seeing another game use the same tool in their official judge program.

The interface is generally surprisingly modern and easy to work with. I especially like the level of analysis you can get across the aggregate of all test takers. It allowed us to identify questions that were causing frictions in ways we didn't intend and will be a big part of informing how we build the test going forward.

I've had to reach out to their support team a few times, and they were always extremely responsive and helpful.

I definitely plan to continue using ClassMarker for this project and would consider it in other professional contexts in the future.

My one criticism would be that the level of design control you have over the test itself is extremely limited, and design options such as displaying a logo don't work well. This is a relatively niche and inexpensive software product and I'm sure the team has to prioritize aggressively, and such design features are not exactly crucial to the test-taking experience. But even just having the option to add custom CSS would make things so much better.

We will be renewing our annual subscription so we can use it again for the fifth year.

I use ClassMarker to develop and provide pre/post practice tests to people who attend my pesticide safety classes. I've received positive feedback from the attendees who have taken the practice exams. They have said the online format is fun and they appreciate the results summaries they receive after completing a practice test.

ClassMarker is very user-friendly for both the test creator and test taker. I especially like the feature enabling me to sort practice test results by category, study guide chapter, workshop group, and individual test questions.

Their customer service is superb, as well. I always receive quick and informative responses to my questions.

We have been using Classmarker for about five years to train and evaluate instructors. We can show the correct answers immediately after a wrong choice is made, so the test becomes more of a teaching tool than an assessment. A numbered list of results that could be organized by location ot type of instructor would be nice, especially for our large group.

I have been using ClassMarker for an online class in the past three years. The students from different country are using ClassMarker for quizzes. It is very easy to learn and use. The grades can exported as .csv file.
I also contacted the customer service for a problem. The response is very quick with recommended solutions.

An excellent and easy to use platform for testing. Great value and forgiving to use with poor internet connections too. If you need testing that's easy to manage with control over what admins can access etc, look at Classmaker.

You can not view results with a free account. I wasted my student's time. It states you can not save results with a free account but it does not clearly state that i would not be able to view
