I am absolutely thrilled with Cleared to Drive!!! I had a lovely woman agent within 5 minutes of seeing “Cleared to Drive” on the internet when I looked up DMV for renewing your license. The agent was truly terrific! Kind and very helpful! The eye sight test was quick and easy, the optometrist similarly wonderful. That morning I had gone to different eyeglass stores to see if I could get an eye test and it was not fun. Weeks for an appt and it cost $$$. I was so relieved to find, and to do, Cleared to Drive later that day. I felt like I had gotten a gift from the world! Seriously!

I was skeptical, but I was wrong. The test went smoothly, the optician was efficient and pleasant, and by the time I logged on to the NY State drivers' license website, they had the necessary forms from Cleared to Drive. The last time I renewed my license, the vision test took hours to arrange and complete and cost about $80. This time the test took less than 10 minutes and cost $49.

This service was amazing. The instructions were clear and the provider and technical assistant were extremely pleasant.

This was very,very helpful! The fact that I didn't need to go out of my way to get an eye exam was so worth it! They are very professional and I would not hesitate to use this service again.

Absolutely fantastic! I just did not have anytime to get to the DMV and my ID was 3 months expired. In 15 minutes I was able to take the test and complete all payment/ process from the eye test to the renewal with DMV!

I discovered my license would expire in a week when I went to rent a car (out of the country!). The rental car company noticed the expiration.

I discovered the option to both renew my license online and get a vision test online.

There were lots of appointments readily available, on a Sunday no less.

The two people I worked with during my appointment were wonderful. The tech person clearly understood what issues could arise and helped me get set up. The clinician was professional and respectful.

Excellent experience and was just like going to the DMV.

Easy. Straight forward. Convenient. We are willing to pay ~$300 per hour ($49 for 10 minutes) because it can be done anywhere without having to make an appointment days in advance, travel, & wait in a waiting room. We pay the premium for ease and speed.

It was very fast and efficient, however, it was a waste of money because it took longer for the DMV to receive the approval, and they do a quick vision test at the DMV at no cost.

So easy and they were patient with my technology struggles.

Very easy and convenient! The whole process took maybe 10 minutes if that. I believe the name of the person who set me up was names, Joel and he was very helpful, professional, and friendly. Being a snowbird, this was perfect for getting my license renewed and my eye exam in the comfort of my own home.
