FRAUDULENT PAYMENTS IGNORED!

I have been the victim of a sim swap scam recently where scammers have access to your entire phone. In my case they ordered over £2500 of digital E-gift cards one of the ways they dis this was with Clearpay. They also used Zilch a similar app and my bank accounts. I explained this to clearpay and they said our specialist team is looking into it. O2, my bank and Zilch all have been amazing resolved all they could on their side within a few days, Zilch especially cannot fault them. Clearpay on the other hand have been awful absolutely terrible i am sick of ringing them asking why it is not sorted yet were now nearlly 4 weeks down the line the other companies sorted it in a week!! Iv rung them around 7 times now iv asked to speak to mangers iv asked to speak to this ‘specialist’ team all they say is we’ll be in touch and i hear nothing from them! Not only that even though it aas a fraudulent payment there trying to make me still pay the instalments and threatening me with a late payment fee if i dont make a payment. Once this is sorted i will be deleting clearpay and sticking with Zilch

If anyone reads this from clearpay do not reply to this like you have the other negative reviews saying ‘ we want to help you with this please contact us’ ….NO!!! I am sick to deaf of contacting you for you to do nothing!!! I will be contacting the financial ombudsman and explain to them how awfull this process is becoming with Clearpay!

Used clearpay to purchase an item from a company called Picadex on the 10th July, I contacted Clearpay several times to inform them I had not received the item, they were no help at all and were only interested in getting the money. To date I have still not received the item

Very easy to use. Good re.inders in advance when payment is due.

Very good service and prompt at refunding when necessary

Non existent customer care when informing them that I had been scammed. Their reply was basically “nothing to do with us” even though since July 2026 BNPL are covered by consumer credit protections . You’d think they’d be checking on the vendors they allow to use their service, probably this is why the dodgy vendors use them. I will never use this shoddy company ever again. Klarna are a far better company to deal with

Easy to use, fair & responsible lending with multiple options to make it work for me. Really helped when I’ve got to buy school uniform, shoes, coats & trainers for 3 kids as I could spread the cost a little . Thank you!

Easy access to the app and you get reminders the day before that a payments due so you can make sure they don't get missed. Great way to make purchases if your a little short. And you can pay early if you get chance.

Trying to change my email mobile number threw email for a life time sent them all details get reply's off different people asking for same thing over and over i give up deleted the app they are a bunch of thickos prob not english

I LEFT FEEDBACK ON CLEARPAY REGARDING THEM CLOSING MY ACCOUNT DESPITE ALWAYS PAYING IN ADVANCE AND BEING A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS I GOT A MESSAGE FROM THEM THEY UNDERSTOOD AND WOULD LIKE TO GET SOMETHING SORTED OUT BUT I CAN'T CONTACT THEM ON THE APP AS THEY HAVE CLOSED MY ACCOUNT SO THEY ASKED FOR MY NAME ADDRESS DATE OF BIRTH PHONE NUMBER AND MY EMAIL ADDRESS I HAVE SENT THEM MY DETAILS 6 TIMES AND STILL HEARD NOTHING BACK SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN THEY SAID THEY KNEW HOW I FEEL AND GET IT SORTED OUT AND TO SEND THEM ALL MY DETAILS BUT NOW I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I'M IN TEARS IT'S LIKE HAVING BAD NEWS THEN WHEN THEY SAID THEY UNDERSTOOD AND GET SOMETHING SORTED OUT AND SEND ALL MY DETAILS IT MUST BE GOING TO THE WRONG PERSON SO ONCE AGAIN I FEEL SO HELPLESS I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I HAVE SEVERE ANXIETY AND ALSO A PENSIONER AND HOUSEBOUND SO I'M AT MY WITS END WHY SEND ME A POSITIVE MESSAGE THEN THEY DON'T ANSWER AFTER I HAVE SENT THEM WHAT THE WANT I'M JUST IN BITS I HAVD NOBODY NO FRIENDS FAMILY OR NEXT SO IF THEY SEE THIS IN THE NAME OF GOD PLEASE HELP ME AS I FEEL LIKE GIVING UP I'VE NOT GOT MUCH TO GO ON FOR AND A MASSIVE THANK YOU TRUST PILOT YOU ARE THE BEST

Sometimes when something is expensive i like to pay over the weeks. Its great if you are sensible and can afford the payments as its interest free

Easy website nothing complicated & a bonus that it’s interest free 👍

Cant fault it! Very quick and easy to set up and use. Makes larger purchases so much easier to stomach but without entering into expensive long term credit

Clearpay is very helpful, when buying something really needed.The price spreads on small amounts and not really hard to repay.
