Thank you so very much for the most wonderful week of walking the Alta Via 2. It was even better than I could have ever imagined. The walking was wonderful, scenery was magnificent, the Refugio’s and food superb. We all got on really well and all were of similar ability so perfect.

The Refugio’s were all absolutely stunning, the food was amazing in all of them, the beds comfortable, showers good, hosts all very friendly. The Viel Del Pan refugio was on the most magnificent spot. Actually they all were so could not put any above another in order of preference. They were all unique and interesting in their own ways.

The trip notes say this is a tough route but I think if you are fit and used to mountain walking then this is a perfect hike. It was not that technical or difficult and the walking day was usually done by 3 or 4 with a break for lunch …. so just perfect!! No blisters or sore legs suffered by anyone. The scenery was just so dramatic and majestic it has left me wanting more…please

Absolutely, without a doubt, the best company you could choose to plan your Tour du Mont Blanc experience! GPS coordinates, updated trip notes through the trek (including snow conditions, lunch options, etc.), and consistent communication were beyond helpful with our self-guided journey! The communication was unreal as we ran into numerous folks on the hike that did not receive this kind of of information from their booking company. This gave my wife and I peace of mind as we knew we were in great hands! This trek is no joke and Cloud 9 Adventure treated the journey with the respect it deserves. Safety is absolutely a priority for their clients!

We booked three days hiking with cloud 9 at short notice when our planned guide broke her ankle. Emma planned the hikes, organised the guides, booked the transfers and insurance. We even managed to avoid the thunder storms. Three outstanding days hiking, very well organised.

Ski trip (the Grand traverse of the Jura) with Cloud 9. Brilliant team. Weather conditions sub-optimal but thanks to Emma and the team we weren't disappointed. Some lovely skiing (as well as some Nordic water skiing!) with good back up plans in place on day-to-day basis. Very warm, committed, friendly and genuine team. Book with Cloud 9 and you won't be disappointed!

Emma and her team ran a fantastic DofE snowshoeing expedition for our students. Everything ran perfectly and the students learnt many new skills. I look forward to working with her on many more expeditions in the future.

Cloud 9 Adventure organized a first TMB for our family of five. Everything was perfect, our guide Lindsay was amazing, the accommodations were wonderful, the food was excellent and the trek length (10 days) and degree of difficulty were perfect for our family – challenging but very enjoyable. Emma at Cloud 9 had worked out all the details and organized a marvelous trip which we will always remember!

Hiking the GR20 in Corsica in 2014 with Cloud 9 Adventure was an absolutely fantastic trip. A real challenge and just what I was looking for in terms of a physically demanding hike, but the trip was immaculately organised and stunning. I would return to do it again!
The bag moving and logistics was all very well thought through, meaning that our luggage was delivered to our accommodation each night for us. We stayed in slightly off the beaten track accommodation and not the usual hostels which are recommended on the route. This meant we had better service and Emma had considered so many of the background issues. We avoided the hostels which were known to have hygiene issues and which were over crowded, and Emma was thoroughly professional yet great fun throughout. I have made friends from this trip which will be lifelong, and before the end of the GR20 were already planning our next adventure with Cloud 9. I hope there will be many more to come !
