Disappointing Experience with Billing and Customer Service

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Club4 Fitness. I was repeatedly charged for services and fees that I did not receive or believe I owed. In particular, I was charged for an off-hours service that I never used, and when I questioned the charge, I was not provided with any documentation or evidence showing that I had used the service.

I was also charged late fees even though my bank account information was accurate. I tried to discuss these billing issues and resolve them professionally, but unfortunately, my interactions with the staff were frustrating. Instead of being helpful and working with me to investigate the charges, I found the people I dealt with to be unfriendly, dismissive, and rude.

Billing disputes happen, but what matters is how a business responds when a customer raises a legitimate concern. In my experience, Club4 Fitness failed to provide clear explanations or satisfactory evidence for the disputed charges and did not handle my concerns with the level of professionalism and customer service I expected.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Club4 Fitness. I strongly encourage anyone considering a membership to carefully review their statements and monitor all charges and fees.

Do Not Recommend - Predatory Contracts

If you are considering joining Club4Fitness, I strongly suggest researching and reading the many reviews available online before signing anything.

My experience left me feeling like the system is designed more to continue billing members than to provide a straightforward customer experience. I signed up for what I believed was a 6-month personal training program and paid for those six months. When I attempted to cancel after completing the term, I was told the agreement automatically converts to month-to-month billing unless a 30-day written notice is submitted. This was never clearly explained when I signed up.

I submitted my cancellation request on March 6 and was informed another payment would still be drafted because the contract requires a 30-day notice. It raises the question of what the purpose of a 6-month agreement is if it automatically continues into month-to-month billing. Based on how the contract is structured, it appears you would need to cancel around the fifth month to avoid being charged after the sixth month. Even after submitting a cancellation, you may still be billed for another month depending on your billing date.

Another frustrating part of the process is how cancellations are handled. You can sign up for a membership directly at the gym, but cancellation must be completed through a separate website or by contacting a third-party billing company rather than the gym itself. Having different systems for signing up and cancelling makes the process unnecessarily confusing and difficult.

The billing for personal training is handled through a company called ABC Fitness Solutions rather than Club4Fitness directly. After dealing with this situation, I looked into the company and found a very large number of negative reviews and complaints online related to billing and cancellation issues. It is something I wish I had researched before signing anything.

I am sharing my experience so others fully understand how the contracts, billing structure, and cancellation process work before committing to any kind of membership at Club4Fitness.
