Turned up on time - coach had required number of seats but struggled with the pre- identified luggage so all the aisle spaces were filled with bags - this is probably a negative on a risk assessment should there be an accident. Driver was friendly but I think should have a hands free phone fitted since it is illegal to use phone while driving (which he did)

Going to the airport was great got pick up a t bit early come back was not as good as the driver was later we was coming in to brimingham we should of been pick up for 2.15 and we got a message saying he was 5min away when we landed we got our bags came out side and he was not there i rang him and he said again he was 5 min away waited again nothing 10 minutes later I rang he then said 2 min away wait another 10 min I rang him no answer try a couple of times still nothing used my wife phone 2 time he pick up saying he just round the corner so we wait then we finally got pick up 40 min later after so many phone call the drive from Birmingham to derby about 45- 1 hour long he went the long way back took us 1 hour and 30 min to get home we also paid exter for the upgrade van with AC but he didn't put it even the we did ask he saud it was on but it was not so not happy with the drive back long wait, long drive back, paid for exter didn't get tthemshould of got the stand bus ( did try ring the company but it was a Saturday and none answered there should be someone work just in someone's like this ring for help )

On our return from holiday our transport was not there. After lots of phone calls and having to wait an hour & a half a replacement coach arrived. The original driver was not answering his phone.

The booking procedure was very easy and we got very competitive quotes. the dashboard is very easy to use and all was well. Our outward journey was amazing - good communication with the driver the day before and the coach was lovely and we had a great trip.

The return journey, however, was a little more stressful. I was not given the name & number of our driver the day before as promised. I rang and was told that it was the same driver as our outward journey, so I messaged him. He replied after 5pm saying it wasn't him. I was then unable to contact anyone at CHC as it was out of office hours. So i am camping in a field with 35 young people, not knowing who our driver is or even if the coach is actually coming to take us home! I DID receive an email with his number at 9am on the day of travel, but the stress levels were high! CHC staff were helpful and communicative on the day.

Booking was easy from start to finish. The coach arrived on time, and picked us up again on time. The drivers were friendly and accessible, which is everything you want really.

I booked a 70 seater but when the coach turned up it was in no way a coach for adults. The coach seats were three abreast on one side with very little room to stretch your legs the coach was much more suitable for children. There was no communication with the company before the trip and when the driver turned up he seemed to be sleeping and wasn’t interested in connecting with us. We had to go across the road to connect with the driver. The driver was fine in the end and let us on. Coach Comparison site didn’t work for us. Will think twice before booking through them again!!

I used Coach Hire Comparison to book transport to and from Goodwood racecourse for 20 passengers. I stated in the details box that we required the coach and driver to stay with us throughout the day. Also, the coach must have boot space for a gazebo, folding chairs and coolboxes. I got a call from C.H.C. the day before the trip to tell me that the company they were going to use have cancelled because they only just found out our request for coach and driver to stay could not be fullfilled. C.H.C. said they have another company lined up at an extra cost of £250 (already paid £500). As it was pay up or cancel we felt we had no choice other than pay the extra.
Next day the coach arrived well on time, a 22 seater, very clean and driven by a presentable young lady driver. But....no boot space ! We had to cram everything under the seats and down the aisle. The only plus was the driver was aware of the need for her and the coach to remain on course. Her company relieved her with another driver at the end of her allowed shift. So no real problem with that company, I just feel that C.H.C. failed in their efforts to fully clarify our requests to prospective companies.

The company was extremeful helpful with changes needing to be made to our reservation over time. The bus drivers were early and assisted with packing our load under the bus which was a really nice touch. The buses were clean and we arrived to our destinations in good time. Glad I went with the company, I was apprehensive at first because it is a "middle man" company but they did not disappoint. Only thing is that the toilets on the buses did not flush going and coming.

We had a lovely trip to Eastbourne Seafront on Sunday, and we were extremely pleased with the service. Our driver, Lucian, was very friendly, professional and helpful throughout the entire journey, which made our family trip even more enjoyable.
The online booking process was incredibly easy and straightforward, and the price was very competitive compared with other options we looked at.
The coach was comfortable, the service was excellent, and everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Lucian was a fantastic driver and a real credit to the company.
We would definitely use Coach Hire Comparison again and highly recommend their service to anyone looking for reliable, professional and reasonably priced coach hire.

The agent , that was dealing with my account a trip to Great Yarmouth on 25th of July, was good in the beginning, then I just feel he wasn't very helpful after that , not communicating important information to the coach company i had 2 coaches which came from 2 different companies, 1 was excellent 1 was late and didn't communicate very well, also CHC didn't link the 2 companies so they could communicate with each other. I have logged a formal complaint and no one has responded to this. Also I had to reduce my numbers i stated this in the complaint I should have been refunded £839 plus some pence CHC refunded £800 my church is a charity and depends on every penny. So overall to be honest i was not impressed with the service and i am sure i will be using CHC again at the moment until these issues are resolved.

poor communication. no information sent to us even though we stated it was for a trip with children and we had to do risk assessments and things. 15 phone calls on lead up to this to try to sort.the mini bus turned up late to pick us up. the driver was using a mobile phone as a sat nav and dropped it several times where he bent down then to get it and taking eyes off road and ended up a few times on the grass verge. None of the windows would open on the bus and it was a hot day and there was quiet a few people feeling sick due to this. no air con either. the driver couldn't reverse safely and was needing the adults to help him do this.
