Recently I've bought Kenya AA and Blue Mountain beans. Oh boy, its the most horrid beans I've ever bought. Especially for that price. The bag states it's freshly roasted but either they straight lie or use quite questionable green beans.

Both bags went to trash bin immediately.

I ordered 3 bags of Smokey Joes Coffee. I was sent 3 bags of another coffee in bags marked Smokey Joes Coffee but it was not Smokey Joes Coffee. The coffee they sent me (whatever it was) is a different colour and the taste is just awful. This is not smokey joes coffee. I complained, they asked for photos of the coffee now they want more photos. I am 71, disabled and housebound and do not know how to do photos in an email. A colleague did the first request for photos but he has said the request for further photos is absurd and wont do them. So I have withdrawn my complaint and thrown this incorrect coffee (3 bags full) in the bin as it tastes just terrible. I will never buy coffee from this firm again, they have cheated me and I paid £79 for the order. They are fine until something goes wrong, then they really are unhelpful when it goes wrong. I wouldnt buy from these people if I was you.

Really poor delivery service and then customer service. The initial delivery driver didn't bother ringing the doorbell and drove off saying no-one was in despite someone being in all day. I only found this out afterwards, they left no note and I didn't get an email.

The delivery can only be tracked by installing an app. This then gave false information (delivered that day). Contracting customer support they sent a link to rearrange delivery but failed to answer any questions about why this had happened.

The second delivery then turns up and leaves the delivery by the porch, again without even trying the doorbell, despite my partner actually being at the kitchen window at the time.

I'm sure the machine will be great but I'll not be going anywhere near this company again.

Really happy with my regular Monsoon Malabar order. It always arrives quickly, freshly roasted and tastes delicious!

Very good coffee! You can tell it’s been freshly roasted as the beans are full of flavour every time. Delivery was fast, and the coffee is delivered in great resealable bags

Been ordering coffee for around a year now no real issues , coffee deliveries fine till the last one which contained not the packs I ordered, smaller packs, contacted the company received a response to which I answered the questions and not heard anything back, to be honest my average order is around £60 so one would expect a decent response, the website seems to not work properly and defaults to all
Sorts of deals which go onto a default seems this is what maybe happened to me . I hope they sort themselves out as the process is simple enough to use , my only complaint on coffee is the strength isn’t as advertised so not as strong ..

I have been using Coffee Direct for about 4 -5 years now. Their range of coffee is great to which I have tried various beans/strengths which I have enjoyed. Currently I drink Golden Crema which seems to be a good strength 'all rounder' that my visiting friends that like a 'proper' coffee enjoy. To add to this the delivery is usually exceptionally quick!
As a personal user I have contacted Coffee Direct to relay my feedback and enquire if they could supply my employer with ground coffee. Coffee Direct were fantastic and put my employer on to a free trial of coffee which went down very well in the office and expanded their customer base further.

I bought 3 different Indonesian coffees and they were all so highly roasted they might as well have been the same coffee. In fact, they might well have been. A Monsoon (should be "monsooned", but there we are...) Malabar actually worse - beans glistening with exuded oils, black, shiny and burned with a horrible aroma. Very poor coffee, despite all the website chat about its quality. I'm not sure these people have any idea about coffee.

Still waiting for my refund from this company if thier is such a thing been fighting to get my money back from coffee that never arrived took my money given me so many excuses 1 refund being done take 2 weeks 2 accounts frozen few weeks later even though they said it was being delt with them they said it was being sorted refund still waiting now ignoring my emails it's fraud took my money they have my money I want it back need to deal with this pure fraud from them I would stay away from them

Great Gaggia espresso machine and excellent customer service. Delivery was next day as well.

I see a lot of bad press in here but my experience with them is 5*+. I love a good bean to cup coffee and always look for freshly roasted beans. Bought the italian beans from them a few times, they are exquisite, roasted a day or two before delivery, always DPD that delivers and the crema of my coffee is just perfect. Couldn't fault them or the quality of their coffee and service. The price is very good and I am a loyal customer as I have tried most of the "famous" beans online and they are not as good.

I ordered Monsoon Malabar Coffee! It seemed strange to me that when you buy 227 grams for £13 and then see that 2.5 kg costs £53! And I immediately thought it was a good deal! That's the problem! Before, when I bought something on the Internet, I looked at the site very carefully and checked everything! But here, because such an amount for coffee is very small, I lost my vigilance!
This company does not have a customer service phone number and the chat that is there is fiction! Yes, they write that this is for the purpose of saving! Strange!
I bought this coffee 500 grams for £4 in the store!!!!! Do you understand £4!!!! I brewed coffee and it is exactly the same as what I had from old stocks for £11.90 250 grams!
I suspect that the company buys this coffee in stores (I don't want to say which store, but in England everyone knows this) and packages it somewhere at home and puts its own stamp!
I have the order number, don't bother and decide what I don't want! I'm returning it!

I have been buying coffee from Coffee Direct for several years, but recently stopped. The coffee tastes OK (not exceptional) but i recently realised it costs significantly more than buying small 250 gm coffee bags in standard stores such as Waitrose (and that is buying large 900gm bags). If anything I preferred the store bought coffee. Shame, as originally i thought they had some unique tastes and products. But now not worth the premium.

Ordered 2 large bags of Russian Earl Grey from Tea- Direct who now seem to be Coffee- Direct. Took 1st bag to France - turns out to be a not very good version of Lapsang. We still have 2nd bag unopened in UK. Cost a lot of money - no care taken.

I was looking for a strong flavoured decaf coffee bean and decided to try the Swiss water decaf beans from Coffee direct as we had tried other decaf beans from other providers but these are the best tasting decaf beans we’ve ever had.

We have a regular subscription now to make sure we have a good stock in.

We did have an issue with delivery courier some months ago but after getting in contact, Miles sorted our issue.

Not much more to say other than great coffee and great customer service, would most definitely recommend.
