Terrible experience at the Uckfield…
Terrible experience at the Uckfield store last summer in the run-up to my wedding in July. The service was poor. Staff were rude and patronising (with the exception of Michelle). I distinctly remembering going to pick up the suits the day before the wedding. The staff would not let me inspect the suits and seemed bothered that I would dare want to make sure the clothes were all in order. How dare I... Then, to compound it all, on the day of my wedding, my trousers (the groom!) had a large rip in the seam, which of course would only get bigger if I had just tried to wear it. I was forced on the morning of my wedding to rush to get ready, along with my groomsmen, so that I could pick up a replacement pair of trousers from Uckfield en route to my actual wedding at the church. Cole's were lucky that they had another pair in my size. Did anyone inspect my clothes? Why did they make such a fuss when I wanted to check my clothes before my wedding? Did I get any apologies? - did I heck. The manager at the Uckfield store is a disgrace. He has no business running a store and talking to customers. He was the worst of all of them at Cole's. Shame on him.
And you know what else? I posted my review on their FB page. They took it down. If you look - they have only posted 4 of the 10 reviews submitted. I wonder why...
Avoid this shop. You're better off going to Moss Bros. They ruined the morning of my wedding - and took my money all the same. Disgraceful.
